Our experience with Meyers has been a nightmare. It was all fine with purchase of our camper. It went all down hill from there beginning with delivery. It was agreed between us and Meyers delivery would be upon notice from us when our site was available. Meyers delivered our camper with no notice to us or the campground and dumped it in the parking lot. When we called them to question they were clueless. They came back to put the camper on our site and we discovered the camper had not been cleaned as promised with dirty carpets, floors, countertops, etc. Two screens were still laying on the bed which were supposed to be repaired and installed and some of the shades which were broken and supposed to be repaired were not. Because we were leaving the area it was agreed they would come back to finish winterizing, clean and fix the screens and shades within a week. We got a call they had done this. However, when we returned in the spring we found the large screen to our sliding door (it had been on the bed when we left) laying in the mud outside on the ground beneath the sliding door. Leaves were all over the bedroom carpet, the floors were still dirty and food scraps were found in the refrigerator. We learned from a neighbor when he came to his camper one day last fall he noticed the door wide open to our camper. The only one that had access was Meyers, so obviously they were not vigilant in locking up properly. In addition, when we arrived in the spring there was a large packet of manuals on the island counter top that was completely drenched from water coming down from the skylight. As we spent more time in the camper we found other things that were not in working condition, the sound system, antenna hookups. We also discovered a "patched" area on the roof that was coming loose. All this after Meyers had emphasized to us the camper would be gone over top to bottom before delivery and ensured us all would be in working condition. As I write this review we have two issues with the camper. One being the awning does not function and needs a new motor and a leak at the base of our sliding door. For over a month we have made numerous calls to Meyers, left messages, usually no return call and when we do speak to someone you get more excuses than you can imagine. As you wind through personel in service, parts and even management it it clear there is little communication between them and it's a total shit show in trying to get resolution to your issues. I can't emphasize enough the excuses we have heard. Being in a campground we have talked with fellow campers who have had the same experience with Meyers. Unfortunately, I have yet to speak with any who have had a positive experience. So, if you just want to buy a camper and are not concerned with if and how things work, you are golden. The sales people were very nice. Beyond that you are...
Read moreBEWARE: Meyer's RV Superstores, Mark Meyer-Purchased a supossed new $89,000 rv. It was delivered to our home. Upon inspection had the below list of issues. Dealer will only repair under warranty and has not addressed the issues of it being misrepresented as new. Will not replace the unit or allow cancelation and return of the unit. We should not be responsible for putting our rv in the shop when there is a huge list of issues in this "new" rv.
Great in the beginning. but they do not back their customers or products. A list this extensive should not be our responsibility to have repaired. We should be receiving a replacement or be able to make a return. we understand things can go wrong, but when the list grows to this extent it should be handled fairly for the customer. *the master toilet seal is not holding water *the legs that hold up the sofa when in the laying position are not working properly- the edge of each sofa falls down so it's impossible to lay on. *the rear awning was not working *the auto leveling system is not working *the fridge door is not catching properly *the molding by sofa is loose *the backsplash by fireplace has a crack *the screw on the sofa is broke *the kitchen drawers are not level *the shade in the hallway was missing *the rear door exterior light is not working *the rear door has a gap and therefore when closed, the door does not close flush *the glass garage door also has a gap and does not close flush *only received one set of keys *no bunk ladder for rear bunk *We were not made aware that work had been done on the exterior of this new RV until after we purchased it **And most disturbing, evidence of someone using the RV as we found urine on the toilet seat, an empty ginger ale bottle found in the master bedroom and three sets of RV keys belonging to other RVs found under the master mattress *have had some issues getting fridge and water heater to work on electric- could be malfunctioning or this could...
Read moreAnyone considering to have there trailer serviced at Meyerâs in Farmington should know this. THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU AND YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM HOW TO DO THEIR JOB! If they tell you they are going to follow up they are lying!
I had a brand new trailer that had a faulty cook top from the factory and a screw that picked up through the floor. We bought the trailer for a specific x-country trip and told them we needed it fixed before we left. I was told they would be able to get it fixed in time for my trip. They had it for multiple weeks, and I have to take a brand new trailer with a non functioning kitchen and a screw coming through the floor on a 5wk trip.
When I returned I dropped the trailer off with a longer list of items to fix. I called to follow up multiple times. Every time I was told I would get a call back with an update. I never once was called by Meyerâs! They had my trailer for two more months. I called multiple times and was promised progress updates after each of my calls. Never happened.
When I got fed up with their nonsense, I picked up the trailer and spoke with the service manager. We inspected my trailer together. My trailer didnât come with a battery disconnect. When I dropped the trailer off the battery was charged and disconnected. To do their work they reconnected the battery. After they worked on it they put it out in their lot where it fully discharged. I questioned the service manager and he told me that was my fault because I didnât tell them not to do that. So then it was clear to me how they operate.
So that is what you can expect for Meyerâs RV! A bunch of frustration and...
