Best customer service! My husband and I took a trip to NY from Seattle and only had 1 hr to spend in Sleepy Hollow. Right before leaving I got excited that we would get to check out this store and get some souvenirs. But they had a note on the door saying during March they would be opening at noon instead of 10am. I was sad to have missed it, from the window I could see so many cool souvenirs. I got in contact with them through email and asked if it would be possible to put in an order and have it shipped to me. They said of course and I was able to put an order in through the phone selecting my items off of their website. A week later all my goodies just arrived in the mail, carefully bubble wrapped for me. The house that it’s in is beautiful. I was just so disappointed because I was looking for souvenirs and they had a handful of cheap items and that was it. There were some great pieces of furniture but do not expect to find souvenirs. In fact we’ve had a hard time finding souvenirs. This wonderful town should absolutely embrace the whole sleepy hollow theme a lot more than they do and they could bring in a lot more money. I’m not saying to turn it into a cheesy tourist attraction but I feel there are really missing out on the amazing history...
