I pay taxes in Tarrytown and I still have to pay $50 just so I can come back and pay $10 the next time? This is my one day off and I just want to sit by the pool. I can't afford the summer price because it wouldn't be worth it to me. This is a public rec center, not a club in NYC. You need two forms of I.D. proving you're a Tarrytown resident and be able to pay the fee even when you have proven that you pay local taxes. Make this more accessible to those who can't afford it. Unfriendly and unwelcoming. A little surprising for Tarrytown. I walked in to inquire about the fitness center and rhe woman at the front desk treated me with suspicion and an unnecessarily harsh tone. A couple of Tarrytown residents she knew came in after me and it was like night and day.
