Trilogy Consignment — Local services in Town of Greenburgh

I have only been to Trilogy a couple of times but have never found anything that I wanted to buy there. I tried to consign but I found the 'rules' for consignment too nitpicky and you cannot make an appointment but have to come on a certain date and wait around. Let me add that I am not new to consignment stores; I consign regularly at a different shop in Westchester County for many years, and have consigned at various times at a few others in Westchester and Greenwich, CT over the years. Trilogy is the only one where you cannot make a specific appointment time. All the reviews are five stars (with a couple of four stars). That screams to me "phony, phony, phony'. No reviews for any store or restaurant always has five stars, there are always some people that are not happy even at the best rated places. Also, the reviews rave about the wonderful customer service at Trilogy. The times that I have been there not one employee ever asked me if I needed any assistance. Lastly, if this review gets posted I will be very surprised. And I will take back my comment that the reviews are faked because they are all five stars and clearly mine does not fit that category. PS. I am not going to edit this review, but instead add a postscript. First, I want to keep my word to take back my comment about the reviews being faked, because my one star review was posted. Obviously, the five star reviews are on the level and not phony. And I also want to thank Heather for her respectful response to me, both the public one and a private one, even after I wrote a negative review of Trilogy. Just because Trilogy didn't meet my needs, the store has a huge number of customers who love it. She is a kind person who deserves all the success she is having...

Every time I've gone in here, I am absolutely blown away by the selection. Hats off to the employees for the amazing displays. A huge shout out to Karen, who is always amazing to talk to.

I am both a shopper and consigner, and I understand the frustration people express about consigning here, however, considering how many people come in to consign (the line goes down the street!) Heather and her team do their very best to handle every customer with kindness and patience.

Trilogy is my go to place for gifts—from a unique piece of jewelry for a close friend to candles or soaps for teacher gifts. I don’t have a lot of time to shop for myself since I usually have a kid or two in tow. But I recently had the opportunity to do a one hour stying session with Linnea, the lovely store manager, and it was AMAZING!! You get the store to yourself and can try on to your hearts content.
