Fountainhead NY — Local services in Town of Huntington

Since I'd never been here before, I checked out their online portfolios to see if there was an artist I would prefer. Truthfully all the work seemed equally excellent so I asked for a recommendation. I wanted to get a memorial tattoo of my cat and I was told Justin a huge animal lover so of course I wanted him to do that work. I also wanted my lotus-flower tattoo re-inked because it had faded & I wanted it to look more realistic.

Recently, I got the lotus redone with him and it turned out amazing! I'm happy with the better, brighter colors, the sharp outlining, and the updated appearance. Now I'm really looking forward to getting my memorial tattoo completed next week because I know it will utterly amazing.

Other aspects I like about this shop: Cleanliness, the comfortable waiting area, the friendliness of all the staff, the well-coordinated aspects of scheduling and setup, & the offer to get me a privacy screen if I wanted because the flower tattoo is centered in the middle of my chest. During my tattoo I was feeling woozy so Justin stopped whenever I needed to take a breath and even once went and got me a protein bar. The shop was busy, but chill and low key. Justin is easy to talk to, but is focused on his work moreso.

This is hands down the best experience I have had with any business and tattoo service. I travelled from Oregon to work with Matt on a Japanese style chest panel and sleeve. The experience has exceeded my expectations. Traveling this far and often was a big commitment physically and financially. The scheduling and communication was very streamlined. The hospitality and service was above and beyond. I even brought my wife and brother to get tattooed during a couple of my sessions by other artists in the shop and they were equally as impressed. The shop is very clean with a modern aesthetic that is warm and inviting. Matt is a master of his craft and a phenomenal artist. I always felt I was in good hands and am very pleased with my piece. I’m so happy with the work I got done at Fountainhead! My fiancé and I both got tattoos done here. They connected us each with which artists specialized in which styles we were looking for. My fiancé got a realistic wand from Harry potter. She loves it and a year later it looks amazing. I got my tattoos done by Justin, and he is an awesome artist. I got two diff sessions with him one a year ago I got two swords from adventure time and then a few weeks ago I went back and got Finn the human! I absolutely love how they came out. The detail he put into the enchiridion book that Finn is holding in the tattoo is so awesome! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already!
