Five Below — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

I was checking out my stuff and went to reach for a reusable bag to purchase since I bought a lot of items for my gift. I guess 5 seconds is too long to look for the barcode on the bag because the store associate came up to me and winked and said “make sure you scan that”. I guess he could see that I was a little upset because I was quite literally looking for the barcode to SCAN and purchase while he was insinuating I wasn’t going to buy it, so he tried to help me out during the checkout process by ripping up my receipt. I hit print on my receipt and he grabbed it and ripped it up. Why would you rip up my receipt if I hit print for a reason? The most weirdest and rude experience...

Staff member called me and my friends poor.

He said we’d find the cheap items in the back, implying that we were poor. Was he wrong? Not necessarily.

Scanned the items for us because he either appreciated our company or thought we would steal.
