Rang Dil — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

My family and family members have always purchased from Rang Dil for any desi events. They have decent amount of selection to choose from. The reason for the one star is their lack of empathy for their loyal customers. Recently purchased a $150 semi bridal set and had it delivered to my house. 1.5 weeks later after getting my outfit from Pakistan, I tried the set on with my outfit, not realizing the earrings are so heavy. I could feel my ears falling apart.

I decided to go in person to the store to find a solution bc there is no way I was going to wear that to my sisters wedding. I understand their store policy is to return/exchange within 7 days of purchase and they are unable to refund my money. But they didn't want to exchange or give me store credit. My email address shows that I have made many purchases before and that I was a loyal customer. If I had known the earrings were heavy, I would have never made the purchase. That being said, I was not accommodated and the sales person was very rude. I even asked to exchange the earrings with less weight but the sale person didn't want to do anything. How can you be so cold hearted and not help your customers?

My experience with this store was awful. I never received the product I ordered to say if it was good or not. I purchased a gift from them and never received delivery of it. According to the tracking, it was delivered but I never saw it. I filed a claim with the post office then called rangdil to make them aware. After multiple calls, I got a call back from a female employee who said she would let the manager know & he would take care of it. I have proof of the call FROM rangdil to my phone. I never heard from them & filed a claim with my bank as I was going away for an extended period of time. I later found out from my bank that this business LIED and said I never contacted them and as such they were never made aware of the missing item. All they had to do was follow up with me as promised by the lady who called me & file a claim with usps as well. Ultimately they may have had a good product but I'll never find out. I recently got married in July 2023! I was working with Rangdil since Jan 2023 to do a semi custom bridal set. The entire experience was wonderful. They were super responsive and accommodating to any changes I made. Additionally, they were able to mail return labels for my bangles that were too big (lost weight closer to wedding) and I was able to exchange easily. I wanted a bronze metal, V- neck green set and didn’t want the tikka to be too large, they were able to accomplish that. I received so many compliments and I felt like they did such a great job helping me select the right shade of green to compliment my blush lehenga. I would 100% recommend Rangdil to any future brides. Prices were also reasonable especially for the quality.
