Since Kohl’s Corporate decided to outsource their customer service to Capital One, do away with the option to pay the charge card via debit card through app or automated phone, and can’t seem to fix my promos after 10 phone calls and 2 store visits, I made the decision to cancel my Kohl’s Charge. There was a prior incident that resulted in me closing my original Kohl’s Charge account. In addition, “Most Valued Customers” are unable to reach Corporate HQ in Menominee Falls, to speak to an actual human. What an insult to your loyal customers who potentially spend thousands of dollars annually in your stores and online. I was then told by the outsourced rep, presumably from the Philippines that I could pay my card off in the store even after it was closed. Trying to do that yesterday was a nightmare, and the nice gals at the Rib Mountain store spent nearly 15 minutes trying to get someone to help us. A temporary authorization code was required to make a payment on my account. Kohl’s Corporate can’t seem to figure out why customers are quitting your brand in...
Read moreI visit Kohl's 3 or 4 times a year. Recently, they changed their check outs. It's very similar to what you see at TJ. Maxx. It is more efficient, just takes a little getting used to.
The atmosphere doesn't change much. But the store smells really nice with the Sefora in the middle.
They still have the best selection for men's wear. In my opinion. I'm not really big on the latest fashions or suits, but in terms of everyday wear and looking nice, they're my go to Store.
Pricing is reasonable. I probably could find some things a little less expensive. Online, but sometimes it's best when you can see and touch what you're about to spend your money.
Seasonally, they are doing less than they used to in terms of products available. Which probably makes me go there a little less. I just recently went there to check out what they offered for the holiday. And it's probably half of what it used to be.
Still good to get away from online shopping and go to an actual department store, Kohls still knows what...
Read moreThe “pick up in store” customer service rep I dealt with was HORRIBLE. I was so incensed at her attitude that all I wanted to do was get out of there and didn’t catch her name. After asking for order # and id, I pull up the email from Kohl’s on my phone and hand her my DL. After typing it into her machine she says, “oh it’s not coming up as ready in our system. Did you get an email that says the order was ready for pickup?” I reply yes. That’s the one (referring to the email with the order #). She replies “no, not that one. Just because you got that email doesn’t mean it’s ready here.” So I scroll up on my phone and show her that the email’s first line is: “your order is ready for pickup!” Her reply is, “OK SIR!”, followed by an eye roll and a huff, then “geez” on her way to the back. Thank you Kohl’s and your abusive staff. I will not be using this service ever again. The rest of my deal shopping and money will go to amazon and other services who appreciate my...
