I dropped off a VERY cheap imitation gold necklace that my grandson had on Wednesday . It had no value except for sentimental. All that needed to be done was to weld a link closed or, at worse, replace it. The gentleman told me it would cost about $7 and the woman behind the counter told me it would be ready by the “end of the week” and I would get a call. Not receiving that call, I went in today (Sunday) to pick up the chain. I was not only told it was not ready but that they never said by the end of the week. I don’t appreciate being misled and it has left me with bad feelings towards this business. There are way too many other options in the Commack Jewelry Exchange to choose from. Next time, I will choose another. Update: This store is closed on Monday and Tuesday. I received a call on Wednesday late afternoon saying my chain was ready. I was charged the $7 as mentioned. My only question is this....If I dropped off the chain on a Wednesday and five days later, on a Sunday it wasn’t ready, how is it that after being closed for two days on Monday and Tuesday my chain could be ready on Wednesday, the first day that the store reopened? For a repair that seemingly only took a half-day to do, why did my chain sit in the store for five days and not be repaired until...

My family has been using Andy at I Love Lucy for 20+ years for basic jewelry needs, so of course when it was time for our wedding I ensured my now husband that all must go through there. Andy helped to restore my grandmother’s engagement ring for me to have and wear with pride. He ensured that the diamond was safe by adding prongs and spruced it up to look brand new, without losing its vintage charm. When looking for a band, I wanted something simple, yet unique, and couldn’t find exactly what I was hoping to in his display. When I described my taste, he shared me the insert that was absolutely perfect for me. My husband also wanted a simple band, and Andy’s staff assisted him in selecting the one that was for him. I can’t say enough about Andy’s customer service. When you go, you are treated like family and know that your valuable items are in safe hands. Andy will size, clean, make modifications, inscribe, add gold, etc. until you are happy. I have purchased every type of jewelry under the sun from Andy and will continue to for years to...

I brought in a religious medal to have gold added to the bail. They switched it for a smaller cheaper medal and denied such.Then did a repair not stated on the repair slip. I’ve worn this medal for 60 years .I am heat broken..cry, can’t sleep or eat. How can Andy do this ??What can I do…I called him twice, cried and said that this was NOT my medal.He swore that he was honest and had been doing repair for55 years and that this WAS my medal. I refused the medal, then went back the following day intending to call the police.When I returned , I assume it was his mother that said that they do NOT bait and switch which I found strange for her to say. Before I could call the police, he miraculously showed me MY medal. The mother remarked that the medal was beautiful. They no longer do craftsmanship like this and it was indeed beautiful. I paid and left as I want absolutely nothing EVER o do with this business. As the saying goes, BUYER BEWARE.. BE CAREFUL, TAKE PICTURES BEFORE YOU...
