I have been coming to this pharmacy since I was a little girl—over the past 40 years, my family and I have always relied on Sag Pharmacy for our personal home items and prescriptions. I’ve always made it a point to support local businesses, believing in the value of community and personal connection. That’s why it breaks my heart to say that this will be our last visit after the deeply upsetting experience I recently had.
I never wanted to write something like this about my experience, but I feel compelled to share the disappointment I’ve endured. I was treated with shocking disrespect by a young lady, who I believe is the manager. She was not only extremely unfriendly but also blatantly dismissive. As I asked about the dosage of my elderly mother’s medication—a question rooted in genuine concern—she rolled her eyes at me, making me feel small and insignificant. When I sought clarification on why both pills were not the same color or shape, she refused to provide any explanation, dismissing my worries as if they didn’t matter at all.
Additionally, for the past two months, every time I’ve visited, there has been loud music blaring from the pharmacy area. It creates an unprofessional and uncomfortable atmosphere, especially when dealing with sensitive health-related matters. It’s hard to focus on important medical information amidst such unnecessary noise.
Walking out of the pharmacy, I felt a mix of sadness, frustration, and profound disappointment. I’ve always believed that local businesses offer not just products but care and respect. Unfortunately, that belief was shattered in this instance. While it pains me to turn away from a place that has been part of my life for so long, I can no longer support a business where basic kindness, professionalism, and customer care are so...
Read moreThey don't seem to actually care about their customers. We purchased 4 boxes of COVID tests after someone in the house tested positive. They sold us expired tests (I'm aware that the expiration dates on some tests were extended - we checked with the FDA online, and these tests were well past the extension). I tested negative with one of these expired tests on the same day they were purchased only to develop symptoms a day later and soon test positive.
We took the tests back to the store to get a refund, and they simply decided not to refund our money. $80 of expired tests, and no good reason given to refuse the refund. I recommend...
