Saltwater Clothing Co. — Local services in Town of Southold

I LOVE this company! I came across Saltwater Long Island a few years ago while visiting Westhampton Beach with my kids and shopping around the downtown area. The vibe of the store just drew me in. The owner, Joe, was there that day and introduced us to his fluffy dog, Lady Blue! I asked about the company and learned that it's a family company he founded with his Dad, Buddy. Since that day, I learned that they treat their customers like family too. I've ordered online a number of times, and it's been a great process. We love the Performance Shirts. They really do perform! This is a picture of my youngest son who has worn this shirt at least twice a week for the past 3 years. It doesn't shrink and it gets more comfortable the more you wear it. We've purchased hats, sweatshirts, long and short sleeve shirts, and jackets. The prices are reasonable, the designs are awesome, and the quality is excellent! My sons are in Jr. High and High School, and we've never had an experience like this with a brand before. Just wanted to share an experience I had with Saltwater one day last week! I was pressed for time but happened to walk into your Huntington Store with hopes of finding a gift for a dear friend we were flying out to see the next day..Eve, in the Huntington store tried very hard to locate a shirt I was interested in purchasing! I needed a Size 2X for the person we were seeing. Eves store didn’t have the size, so she went on the hunt and located one in the Westhampton store. It was questionable as to whether or not I could get to this store but the salesperson, said that she would bring it over the next day…I know that probably wouldn’t work as we were flying out that AM While driving home to my home in Satauket Eve called me and told me the store associate in Westhampton actually volunteered to drive the shirt to my home!!! Her name is Veronica and she totally put herself out for me and our circumstance!! Absolutely unheard of in this day and age. This was purely going the extra mile or miles. While recently vacationing in Greenport with my family we took a walk around town and stopped in Saltwater LI. My son had already purchased some items online that he was VERY impressed with and he was thrilled to be able to visit the store.

We were greeted by the owner, Joe DeMarco, who was extremely personable and helpful. We bought a variety of clothes and after returning home ordered more things online and visited the store in Walt Whitman mall.

I ordered some shirts for my grandsons that needed to be exchanged for size and Joe handled the matter personally! It was literally taken care of overnight.

The quality of the clothes can only be outdone by the attention given by Joe and his staff.

We look forward to doing more personal and gift shopping at the store and online, especially with the Christmas season coming! It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Joe, his staff and his excellent line...
