Maggy’s Vintage Shop — Local services in Traverse City

I can't begin to express how much I love this store. The shop itself is filled with so many fantastic finds and pieces with rich history. I was so taken aback by the contents that I returned a 2nd time on my last night in town, as I was returning home to New Jersey the next day. My family and I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Lenore. She touched our hearts with her story of how this shop came to be formed by her and her daughter, Maggy. Lenore has great stories and I encourage you to strike up a conversation with her. Not only is she friendly but she'll most certainly provide you with a wealth of knowledge.

My sister and I decided to purchase a few beautiful items and Lenore went above and beyond to take care of us. I love antique shops & was so excited to find this shop in Traverse! Being from out of town, it’s so easy to get swept up into the handful of stores selling basic “tourist-y” merchandise. It is refreshing to find places like Maggy’s to show that local & vintage products have so much more meaning than a screen printed t-shirt. What a cool find! Cute, well curated, clean antique store I didn't know existed in Traverse City! Maggy was a delight! She has a story for every piece acquired, and there's a lot! I enjoyed hearing the story about the ring I bought, neat experience! The entrance is a bit hard to find, but once you stumble upon it, you go downstairs to a plethora of finds that spands underground (I believe for) that entire bock! 14 rooms, I think she said??!
