We stayed next door at the Hampton Inn and ordered food for takeout. Placing the order was a bit of a hassle because of all of the background noise at the restaurant/bar and they were out of almost all of their pizza selections. Not that big of a deal though, we just wanted to pick up some pizzas to eat in our hotel room before we're heading over to the BOK Center for a concert. We were told to show up in 20 minutes and check in at the bar to pick up our order. We followed those instructions and, I'm sorry to say, got nothing but bad attitude from more than one of the bartenders. I don't know if we were given bad instructions as to where to pick up our order but she looked at us like we were crazy and said she did not know anything about it. She said we just have to wait and walked away. We then asked another bartender that came down our way and got a similar look and attitude. She said she had no idea and we'd have to wait because she was busy. We told her we had no problem waiting, we weren't trying to rush anyone, we were just told to check in at the bar and let them know we are here to pick up our phoned-in order. I do not go to bars so I do not know how bartending works but basic customer service should be practiced no matter where one works. It was a busy night because there was a concert going on across the street so we had no problem waiting, we were simply following their instructions. Approximately 30 minutes later, the kitchen staff caught our eye and let us know our food was ready. The pizzas were okay. Good customer service should not depend on how much money you are spending, but $54 for three medium pizzas should come with a lot better attitude and service than what...
Read moreI went to Arena at 10:45pm this evening and was so happy to see that they closed at 2am because I’m starving from traveling for work. I pull the door and it’s locked. I see someone drink a beer and two ladies inside. I knock, they ignore me. I saw the back door was cracked open so I thought “oh, you have to go through the side entrance.” The door outside the side door was locked. I knock and a red head comes and says we’re closed. A Caucasian man approaches and says he left something and she lets him right in. I was trying to get an understanding about how Tulsa works being that I’m from NYC. The girl doesn’t even let me ask my question and rudely says “I told you we’re closed…” and locks the door in my face. No wonder my Uber driver told me to visit Greenwood Museum…racism is active here. The way she look and spoke to me was utterly disgusting and I will do everything in my power to get this place shut down. All she had to do was tell me it’s a slow night so we typically close early and I would have been fine with that. I’m staying at the Aloft hotel and ordered an Uber and it said 13 minutes away. I ended up walking to my hotel with all these sketchy people in a city I’ve never been in. Never going to this place again…and I’m going to tell my cousin who plays for the MLS to blast this location for treating me like a dog....
Read moreThis is our hang out either before or after just about every Oilers hockey and Football game for a year now. I love this place 95% of the time. Today however, I had no idea there was a Steeler Nation party going on. Our service was horrible. The girl at the bar took 10 minutes to even take our drink order. Our food was amazing as always. Then came the headaches. We had to force her to recognize we needed a drink refilled. After lunch, it was another 10 minutes if us waving a credit card at her as she just kept passing by time adter time to help this group she knew we were not a part of and then she had the nerve to put an automatic gratuity on our tab as if we were part of them. Really,? No one ever stopped by to check if our food was ok or to do any refills and we had to scream at you to get you to even take our payment and you still had the audacity to walk around a bar with my creditcard in your hand serving others and charge me a tip. Sorry excuse as the owner sat by watching on doing...
