Made Market — Restaurant in Tulsa

Went Friday 11/12/21 around 8:45pm, because I tried to call for “to go” or room service, they never picked up, so we went down there to order. We stood in the middle of the “restaurant”, being ignored for over 5 minutes. There was a brown haired waitress that walked around us several times, and a lady who looked like the probable manager delivering orders, passing by, ignoring, before finally asking the bartender about ordering.

With a “restaurant” at maybe 40-50% capacity on a Friday night, she rolled her eyes at us and said “ticket turnaround is around like an hour”. I didn’t ask how long it would take, we just wanted to order in the hotel we were staying in, and not to be disrespected like that. Apparently Made Market didn’t need the money that night. So we just left and went to Flemings Steakhouse 🤤 👌🤌 YUM.

Sunday we went for breakfast, they asked our room number, all was good. Monday we go for breakfast, they ask our room number, then hand us a $24 ticket to be charged to our room. When I inquired, breakfast IS complimentary, but not if you book through Priceline, so they aim to get their money one way or the other. If I had known I’d be paying $24 for a pre-prepared buffet, I would have gone to a real restaurant, where you can order what you’re paying for, it is actually good, and you can take your leftovers. Never would have gone for a second day of breakfast had we known. Never would have rebooked the hotel had we known the backwards...

We got complementary breakfast with our room. It was okay with something for everyone. We ordered room service the first night and it was kinda expensive. We also were not told, nor did it say anywhere on the menu that a 20% tip was included... they delivered everything in a brown paper bag with the receipt in the bag so we tipped at the door. He got a big tip! I think it should say somewhere that it's added on. The food was average but good and as easy as it could get, but it's priced for that. The restaurant seemed clean and guy going...

I would take a hard pass if you are considering eating anything here. I was staying at this property off and on for weeks and I ate here several times with each experience worse than the previous. The food was unappealing and the burgers were so overdone that they were crunchy. Very slow service with snarky and rude staff.

Even the bar had issues with very limited selection and most of the draft beer options out. There are many other dining and drinking options within a short walk or Uber/Lyft ride that are much more...
