Panera Bread — Restaurant in Tulsa

Asked for bread bowl to be cut as normal but French onion soup on the side. Took quite a while to get there. My friend got her food and the avacado looked just…horrible. No condiments. Finally, my food comes after she already was half way through her meal (we ordered together) and the soup was in the bowl. Took it back. My friend finished with her meal and wasn’t happy at all with the quality. The bread bowl had a single cut but not like when they do bread bowls so brought it back up and the guy at the service station opened it and said “look! It is too cut” rolled his eyes and passed it to the line to actually CUT OPEN. Get back and my friend was done eating so I asked the front for a lid for the soup they said “they’re back there by the window” …. All I saw was cup lids so I went back and asked again. Again was told “they’re back there by the window” I was beyond disappointed with the lack of service and the sarcastic comments. The only good thing was the sweet blond kid at the front knew it was wrong and said I’ll go get it. Will absolutely never be back there. Met with family here to have lunch. Upon reviewing the menu, I personally settled on only having dessert from their bakery box.

The facility was clean. The staff was not very enthusiastic or welcoming. They may just be used to people ordering at a kiosk versus the counter now. I found the kiosk to be confusing. Others seemed to have zero issues with it. I understand the efficiency technology provides, however, to order from the bakery section I was going to have to speak with an employee regardless.

I ordered the pecan braid and a brownie. Both looked better than they tasted. The pecan braid was so hard and the brownie did not seem to be fresh either. Both were extremely sweet it was off-putting. The price of two pastries would have been equivalent to a $15 entrée.

Had I not been meeting up for a lunch with family, I would not have personally chosen to eat at Panera. The rest of the group enjoyed their soups and sandwiches. If Panera is a place you like then you'd probably still enjoy this location. It did have a great atmosphere in...

This is sad because Panera bread is actually my favorite place to eat lunch lol. But this is the worst one I've been to. I also see it's rated quite a bit lower than other Panera breads. Unfortunately it's vastly closer to my place of employment than any other. But look at their soup they served me today lol this is gross. It's not like they didn't notice that it's very very old and they had to basically spoon it into my bowl. Why would you serve this? Who is in charge of this Panera bread And why is this the only one that serves I mean actually gross soup. My sandwich was still good thank God. And I will say depending on what day of the week you go you'll get fresh soup. So that means this soup is literally a week old. I would bet my entire paycheck they re-heat this soup everyday for an entire week. Not cool Panera bread.
