T S Chu & Co — Local services in Tybee Island

I love TS Chu's! For people on the island, it is so nice to have a store that carries such a wide variety of home goods and hardware. Instead of having to make a 45 minutes to an hour round trip drive off the island, a 3-5 minute drive to the back of the store (where they have parking for 10 or more cars,) is a thing of beauty.

The store is large and has two entrances. The front of the store faces the main drag and has everything needed for the beach. The back of the store has the hardware, home goods, and general merchandise, more so than the local IGA .

The people who work there are helpful and polite without fail.

TS Chu’s. What a great story of sacrifice and success. Chu came to acquire his first store as a gift for his kindness to a stranger. His family’s success story is a Tybee legacy.

The store offers goods for residents and tourists. Hundreds of Tee shirts and decorations. But also supplies for plumbing, electrical and HVAC service or repair.

A generous helping of cheap conveniently located beach necessities.

Great place!!! While I was on vacation I had a tire going flat and the staff helped me out. We attempted to repair it but could not find the hole. They added additional air to the tire to make sure I could get to a tire store safely. I really appreciate the help. There are so many places that wouldn't go out of their way to assist someone that only purchased a couple small items. Thank you for help. Highly...
