Inlet Ave Beach access — Attraction in Tybee Island

We had the best time, I chose this beach access to keep our kids safe and we felt very relaxed here. There are still waves but not like on the ocean front side. I didn’t feel like I had to watch out for water critters too much. The sand is deep and soft so carts need to have wide wheels. If you go in the heat of the day your feet will blister so socks may help with that. Going barefoot from the car would be a big mistake. Paying for parking online was no problem. This was a nice quiet beach great for shell and shark teeth hunting. Lots of fun when you go early. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! The sand can get EXTREMELY HOT and there is no boardwalk or anything to walk on and the shaded area is quite far.
