My girlfriend and I are vegan. I called here to place a carry out order after seeing that there were vegan items on their menu online. I asked for a cucumber roll and a veggie roll, then asked if the bubble tea was vegan and the girl on the phone said it was not(which is fine.) When I got my food we had been given an eel cucumber roll instead of just a cucumber roll. I called to let them know and they said they would make a cucumber roll for me. I brought back the eel roll to show them it was wrong and the man at the counter said “sorry, there’s nothing we can do about it. A new roll will be $5( and some change. I can’t remember the exact amount) I understand that there can be moments of miscommunication, especially in restaurants, but I’m disappointed in the service we received. Following dietary restrictions in a food environment is very important and there should be no excuse not to take special care of every order coming out of a place of business. When inevitable mistakes happen, I believe they should work to make it right, not be rude to the customer. I’m glad we just have a dietary preference, because if it had been an allergy we’d be at the...

Hubby and I went here for dinner one nite. Were on vacay this summer for a week. We stayed at the Admiral's Inn so it was a short walk away. This place is great. Everything is fresh on the menu. Even the jalpenos. Hubby and I can only eat so... much fried food before you start feeling awful between that the heat and the sun itll make you feel bad. Pretty much fried food of something or another is what youll find there. Thank you to RAW for having none of that. Like the idea of you have a list of starters in the bowl, veggies and protein to pick from. Sea food is all they have protein wise. I ordered the salmon of course it came uncooked. But, I asked if they could use the blowtorch on it for me. Pretty much just to sear it. WOW! And I aint no seafood fan either. Hubby had sushi. They sell it in like a "3 pack". He loved it. It really wasnt that expensive for it either. I mean considering its fresh and your at a tourist beach. When we come back next year for vacay...

The staff here is friendly, kind and personable. If it was staff alone, I’d give this place 5 stars.

The space, tables/walls, and overall atmosphere was welcoming and clean.

The sushi here does not live up to the reviews. It’s low quality sushi for high prices. Rice is mushy. The sushi fillings were sloppy and not fresh.

On a positive note, the actual seaweed wrap was crispy.

We ordered two regular rolls and one special roll. The special roll did taste better than the originals. We also enjoyed the bubble tea, for it had firm bobas, but expected a smoothie-like drink. That’s okay, though, since the menu doesn’t say smoothie.

This place seems to be the only sushi restaurant around, so I’d say it’s an alright place to try, but it’s not “amazing.”

We’ll probably give it a try next...

Best sushi I've ever had, and my wife and I live in a city with some of the best sushi (for every day people) in the world. The option to build (or order prebuilt) poke bowls is genius! We went here twice on our week long trip. Well worth the price, which is not any more than what we spend on sushi in our city, and it's better quality. I don't know if it's because you can look out the door at the ocean (their supply must be more fresh), or what it is, but it is amazing food. We didn't try the bubble tea as that isn't one of our favorite things but we crave sushi all the time and this hit the spot in ways other restaurants have let me down for years. I cannot praise this place highly enough.

Do not expect this place to be like your favorite sushi restaurant in your town. This place is definitely a standard “Americanized take on Japanese food” that’s not Japanese food. Let me start with rice. It is not sushi rice. It’s gummy. Sweet brown sauce smothering the rolls that has fried shrimp or fried crabs.. wasabi that doesn’t even have a kick.. salmon or tuna that don’t have a texture… guess if you like something fresher than the typical beach town fried food, guess it’s not a bad choice but I will not go back for this quality of food. I’m sorry, idk where 4.8 stars come from. Definitely not the quality I expected with $15-17 per roll.
