We went late September during the off season. It's a pretty beach with not many people. You can look out and see another island across the water. People brought kites to fly since there were so few people. We picked up shells and enjoyed the views. The sand was soft. Note: there are no restrooms or places to shower to get the sand off. Also we had sand flies and they do bite so may have to bring bug spray. Parking is more in a residential area.

The beach itself is beautiful to look at but the coarseness of the sand really dug into the skin. But the worst part is paying for parking with the electronic payers. I could not get any good reception to pay for it using the app and the pay stations were all offline. Took me over 20 minutes to pay page by page as it loaded up. Tried to be honest and pay it and it took forever. Other than all that, family had an ok time here for the...
