My twins started at Tati's at 4 months old - and in the fall they will "graduate" at 4 years old. What an incredible little place we were so fortunate to find. From the outside its an unassuming brick building . Outsiders can not see in ( a good thing , imo). On the inside - you will be surprised to find a meticulously clean, well laid out, legitimate little school - unlike other daycares that maybe feel like they're in someone's living room - dirty carpets - etc. Tati's gets mopped and cleaned at the end of each day. Everything is back in its place for a fresh start the next morning.
As for the care of my children, I knew they were always in good hands. Never did I ever hear my children say a bad word about their teachers. Ms Dixie in particular was always the perfect blend of firm and loving - which is exactly what you need in a room full of toddlers! I called her the child whisperer. When my son didn't want to be dropped off, she knew him so well she always knew what to say to get him to go in. Also, she was the momma when she needed to be - which is what you want with little ones. All the teachers were so kind and loving. Academically , they work with them too.
What Tati's lacks in outdoor space - they made up for in trips to the local playgrounds and walks. In the summer - they take them to the splash pad a few blocks away. They have enrichment classes like gym and music each week to change it up.
Ms Cindy and Ms Nastassia in the office are always working hard to find ways to improve the school and the space. They recently started a little school library where kids can borrow and bring back books - a nice addition. They throw little parties for holidays. For example - On cinco de Mayo the kids all made their own fresh salsa, on Holi they painted t-shirts and for Mothers day they're having the moms for "tea." These are just a few examples.
We have loved Tati's . Don't know what we would have done...
Read moreMy daughter has been coming here since 2021. She has grown from baby room all the way to PreK! All the staff are amazing. My daughter has a special connection with Ms. Dixie, along with loving all the other teachers.
Most students that have been part of Tati’s, we have seen them grow with my little one.
Seen some negative reviews, not sure why they say some ridiculous things. My wife and I are very particular when it comes to what we do and don’t like. Tati’s we love and it has been a game changer.
No other place does 7:30am to 5:30pm. Especially for PreK! This makes work life so much easier as we do not need to rush home early to pick up our children.
They take kids to the park, sprinklers pool (during summer time) and walks. They have so many activities throughout the year.
To me it’s funny when someone says their 13-14 month old doesn’t like Tati’s. Because they can talk and understand what they do and don’t like? lol.
I would suggest you come in for yourself to see the quality of this...
Read moreMost importantly, I know my daughter is safe, cared for and loved while she's at Tati's. I find their facilities and practices extremely clean and careful, they follow all state mandated protocols to the T and while daycare germs are unavoidable, the staff and community of parents respect the sick policy well which is a big factor in keeping illness spreading at bay. I like that they send photos throughout the day but that I truly forget my daughter is there most of the time, I just never need worry about her because I really feel confident in the care providers. It’s a no frills facility and while there are certainly “fancier”centers in the area, I am very happy with our Tati’s experience. And at the end of the day, my daughter loves all of the teachers and staff. What more could you ask for?! Only sadness is our favorite teacher was moved from our daughter’s classroom into the Pre-K class. Excited to send our infant there...
