I recently had the pleasure of dining at Oceans Bar in Union City, CA, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Each visit with my family just keeps getting better and better. The food at Oceans is simply outstanding. The sashimi scallops are a personal favorite of mine, and the prawns are always cooked to perfection. It's great to see such attention to detail in the preparation of their dishes. What sets Oceans apart for me is their ability to cater to everyone's tastes. While I enjoy the seafood offerings, my kids love the variety they can choose from. They often switch it up from hamburgers to the delicious chicken Alfredo. It's refreshing to have a place that can satisfy the entire family. The service at Oceans is top-notch. We are fortunate to have servers like Daniel, Julian, and Andres, who consistently go above and beyond. Their attention to detail and their ability to remember us when we arrive truly make us feel valued as customers. They treat us the way a restaurant should treat its patrons. In fact, our experience at Oceans has been so exceptional that we are willing to drive three hours just to dine there. My daughter birthday dinner myself and family came as far as Sacramento. Service was good considering that only 3 worker on the floor. The kitchen staff 🤔 sad.I had been looking so forward for the shrimp Enchilada so good the last time I was there. But last night no one ate there full dinner .Party of 7 plus 2 kids food came out COLD.How do you return 7 oders back to the kitchen to be prepared right and come out fresh and hot.Had already tooken back the calamari 2times for being cold,an just had to cancel that order. Everyone took a few bits and was done.My food had a few shrimps that was cut up in pieces so small you couldn't taste the shrimp flour shell was soggy.My son an daughter ordered the same dinner her portion came as a full plate his was a half of plate.. the frys fish and shrimp was fry so hard an tastes less, total disappointed. The only thing that was good was the Oyster Rockwell was hot and good also the caesar salad .The bread had to leftover from lunch plates.The bill was almost $700. Read moreWent to lunch with my honey and found ourselves staying for few hours, Food was absolutely amazing!! Chef Aldo has great creativity of bringing fresh ingredients together to make a wonderful masterpiece!! Started off with two oysters each of Eastern, Blue Point, Raspberry Point. I really liked the Raspberry Points on this visit and my honey enjoyed Blue Points, so next plate 3 Raspberry Points and 3 Blue Points. Fresh grated horseradish is a nice touch inside of the cocktail sauce - adds a small amount of heat and adds texture. Next, three cherry stone clams prepared three ways and an oyster rockafella which I haven’t had in a long time (little rich but the spinach and oyster cut it perfectly - Thanks Chef). Next we went with the fish stew (crabs, shrimp, clams, mussels, squid) with a rich in flavor, not overly thick and definitely not watery red sauce that accompanied the seafood beautifully. Brought the left over sauce home yum 😋. Lastly for dessert had two enchiladas- one was fresh crab the other was shrimp they were neck to neck on amazing taste but if I could only select one I’d have to go with the shrimp enchilada - it rivals the shrimp enchilada from Javier’s located at the Aria in Vegas.
