Bassett Furniture — Local services in Upper Merion Township

We bought 4 pieces of bedroom furniture 10/2021. All 4 of them arrived with quality issues. 2 nightstands had a redundant wooden piece nailed into the drawers keeping them from opening/ closing properly. Our tall drawer stand’s drawers are off center in their respective holes. Our 8 drawer long nightstand had a scraping noise when opening the drawers. We had techs out multiple times to fix them. The 8 drawer piece couldn’t be fixed so they replaced it. We didn’t even both telling them about the tall one because it was all such a hassle. The replacement piece came in 3/2022 because they had to build it, but it arrived with quality issues too. The nails they use inside the drawers of the new piece to attach the handles are very sharp and I’m going to need to sand them down so they don’t rip our clothing. It’s really weird, some of the handle nails are inside a hole to hide them, but others aren’t - like two different techs built this. All I’m saying is this is the last time we buy from Bassett and next time we’re going with MACHINE PRECISION ASSEMBLY LINE PRODUCTION. We spent way too much for the quality that we received. Beautiful furniture and top notch service

A little over a year ago, my husband and I visited Bassett Furniture and fell in love with a sectional. One of the associates was kind enough to let us know that there was a sale coming up and advised us to come back then. The staff was so helpful in assisting us with our purchase and offering suggestions for materials. We have received so many compliments on the sectional. We recently decided to extend the sectional and add another piece. I was happy to find that I could do so online. The next day, I received a call from an associate in the KOP store who advised that they were processing our order and wanted to let us know that the standard material had changed and that there would be an additional charge to match the material of our sectional. (How many places would have just shipped me what I ordered without noticing I was ordering it to go with a piece I ordered over a year ago?) After a couple calls back and forth while I considered my options, she informed me that she was able to call around and find enough material to complete my order and that they wouldn't have to charge an additional amount. My recent experience with a purchase from Bassett in King of Prussia could not have been better! Kim Tiller, the Design Consultant who worked with me, was simply amazing! She had an-depth knowledge of the furniture, available options, and what would work best for my taste and home furnishing style. Kim was friendly and professional in every regard. She also spent the necessary time needed to help me decide without any sense of me being rushed at all. I don’t think I’ve ever received more personal attention in a major investment. Kim also tracked the delivery progress and kept me well informed right up until the time of delivery. In fact, the sofa arrived well ahead of the anticipated delivery date window for customized furniture. In addition, the delivery men were courteous, friendly, and careful not to damage anything. The sofa exceeded my expectations. The color and fabric were beautiful and it was perfectly sized and fit in with my home décor.
