First and for most, I wanted to rate this a 0 stars, but I had to select a star value. It appears Chipotle does nothing to properly train their staff. You could tell by being there that the majority of the employees were new, and they had no guidance on how to adequately perform their job. I entered Chipotle around 11:45am to beat the normal midday rush. As I approached the counter I requested a burrito, brown rice, chicken and steak (double meat). The employee gave me like triple meat. At first glance I was like, "Excellent." Then as I go down the line I got some salsa, cheese, sour cream, and lettuce. All of which were put on in large portions. Then comes the worst part, it appeared they grabbed a random person off the street to roll burritos that day. My burrito was rolled into a disastrous ball of mush, and double wrapped in tin foil for safe keeping. I have gotten the same burrito every time I have been to Chipotle (I go a few times a month), and it was never that big. Thus the inadequate training on the front end of the process (not properly portioning the food) caused the back end of the process (rolling the burrito) to be just as horrendous. So as I got back to my office to enjoy this disastrous ball of mush, I realized the steak was so horribly cooked it was like beef jerky was in my burrito. The pale gray inside, as apposed to the normal light pink inside was an immediate indicator. I have never written a review of any food place before, but after my lunch here I felt it was necessary. It was the most horrible experience I have ever had at a Chipotle. Luckily they just built a Moe's Southwest Grill...
Read moreSo disappointed with the service that I have received from this tonight the store wasn’t clean. Everything was out of place. I went to the restaurant extremely hungry after A long day at work thinking I was gonna get something quick to eat for dinner. I asked the young lady that was helping me could she please give me all my condiments on the side so when I get home, I can reheat my food and not heat the stuff up that was cold. She then started getting extremely aggressive with me so I asked to speak to the manager. The manager seem to be extremely overwhelmed and upset with being at work I explained to her that I wanted my condiments on the side because I was going to reheat my food when I got home and I just didn’t want to reheat the cold stuff. She then told me that she was trained to charge a customer if they want their condiments on the side extremely rude wouldn’t give me her name or anything when I asked for her name. She stated that she doesn’t wear a name badge for a reason she didn’t represent the company in no way shape or form. I’ve never had such horrible service at chipotle I then left that chipotle and went to another one in Bluebell and when I tell you, the customer service was on a different level it was extremely clean there. The people were friendly and open to work. I just wouldn’t recommend this chipotle in King of Prussia at all. It seem like they’re under staff and just didn’t want to be there and it seem like they were closing the store early when the store was supposed to close at 10 o’clock I was there around 6:35 PM...
Read moreTo be clear, this is an opportunity for upper Management/Leadership to address, correct, and resolve what is the culture and standard practice with the food and service. Specifically, the failure to provide the customer with what they are paying for and the constant attempted upsell and upcharge fees. A chicken burrito bowl, 1 spoon of chicken which isn't a full spoon serving, then carelessly spills onto the counter and maybe half ends up in the bowl. This has been observed numerous occasions over the past several weeks. 21JUL2024, the worker placed 1 spoon of rice in the bowl and when asked for additional rice, stated it would be an additional upcharge for each spoon of rice. The food value received per the cost is unacceptable. The customer service interaction is equally if not even more so, unacceptable. Management/Leadership stop instructing employees to do this. The public is fully aware of the "hustle" attempts and scheming per Chipotle. This is why people use their phones to video document their food order process and it's only then, the customer actually receives what they pay for. I will be contacting the Chipotle Corporate Office to file a complaint and bring additional attention and awareness to...
