We purchased a new home earlier this year that had a combined family, dining, and kitchen space and were unsure where to start with putting together a cohesive design plan. We had spent an entire day picking out a dining room table and didn’t know how to build around it. We met Rylie Roberts at Ethan Allen and explained our situation. She asked a lot of questions to get a feel for our likes and dislikes and then crafted an entire floor plan to pull the space together. She walked us through all of the different choices and listened patiently to our reaction and suggested alternatives. She even offered additional appointments so that we could get comfortable will all of the selections which we took her up on.

We felt confident with her design and moved forward by placing the order. The process was seamless and she worked with us on the timing of our new construction so that we could ensure delivery soon after we settled. She communicated with us frequently to keep us up to date on the status. The result is exactly what we were looking for and balances comfort and style. She visited our home to see everything in the space and helped make adjustments and suggestions for the future.

I worked with Kelly Cole at Ethan Allen King of Prussia for my home in Philadelphia. I loved working with Kelly, she was very helpful and patient. After I met her at the store as I was looking for some living room sets, she came over to the city to see my place and discuss with me my style and taste and evaluate the building's architecture. I live in a 1920's building, so she considered in her design (which I had not thought about it!) my personal (more modern) style and its complement with the building's style. Once she did so, she produced a design with the footprint of my place, photographs and options. She included some pieces that I would have never thought about, and we followed with a couple of meetings at the store where we discussed the materials and the options. I worked with Allie Chang at Ethan Allen’s King of Prussia store. She was amazing!! With just the floor plans of my new build she helped me develop a vision for my space. We had an initial telephone conversation, where we spoke about the aesthetic I wanted in the home, it’s function and she asked me to send some inspiration photos.

She was nice enough to travel to an entirely different EA store to make sure I could see the items I was interested in in-person. There, she was so patient with me!! She showed me her renderings and she picked pieces for me that I absolutely loved. She helped me pick fabrics and coordinating pieces. Walked through the entire (huge) store with a lamp and a fabric swatch, just so I could see it next to a nightstand. Made suggestions for rooms I wasn’t even purchasing for that day. She didn’t apply any pressure and fully understood that I was going to make some purchases that day and some after I moved.

The items that I selected that day were perfect for what I was imagining.
