Island Way Boutique — Local services in Venice

My family and I have visited this store and purchased various articles of clothing etc. several times a year. In October '22, I purchased 2 pairs of same long pants ( different color) and several tops as I was going on vacation in near future. Long story short, I washed the pants ( as directed) sometime later and the legs of One pair shrank about 10 inches. I brought the pants back to store beginning of January to complain about the shrinking ( did not have receipt ). Was informed the shop didn't carry those pants by the very sales woman that had sold them to me. I asked to speak to the owner and person did approach me ( man ) who suggested I call the manufacturer and seek recourse. I will not be shopping at this...

Miami Ave has the most unique shops in Venice, well worth the one block wander away from the ice cream and Italian cafes on the main boulevard. On Miami you find delights like fossils, real Italian ceramics, superb church-run second stores, hand-woven baskets and cloth, and locally made Venice souvenirs.
