Solo Wear — Local services in Victorville

I want all consumers to know my experience with Solo Wear in Victorville, Ca Mall. It was a very unfair and frustrating one. They have a No Return policy no matter what the situation and/or the reason behind it. First of all, I never reall shopped at this store because from previously browsing around the store, I can tell that the product is kind of a lower quality (the kind that you will see at the indoor swap meet). My daughter just started senior year in HS and she needed a white uniform in her ROP class (like a scrub/hospital uniform) and she needed it in 2 days. I went to the mall and looked at almost all the stores and went in to Solo Wear store and went straight to the back where I was relieved to find a white scrub-pull over white uniform! Returned home to find out that it was the wrong uniform! She needed a white lab ROBE and not a scrub. The next day my husband and I went back to Solo Wear to return the wrong uniform. We brought the new white lab robe uniform we just bought from Ontario to show and explain to the Manager/Owner that I bought the wrong uniform and my daugher can not use it. We were returning the item brand new with the tag still on, reciept in hand and it was only within 12 hours. The manager/ Owner i believe said that she can only give us store credit and CAN NOT refund our money. She was adamant about their store policy. I explained to her that I can understand if we just changed our mind about the product, or weeks had passed, or we had no reciept. But it was the WRONG UNIFORM! My daughter could not wear it and I didn't want anything else in the store! She didn't budge at all...she was not interested in pleasing the customer! So, for all of you guys out there, beware! Keep in mind that Solo Wear in Victor Valley Mall will NOT refund your money for ANY REASON that you're returning an item. Even if the item is; broke because it was a cheap material, the wrong size (and they no don't have another size); wrong color (and didn't have the right one you need); wrong uniform, etc. and the list goes on! The Manager/Owner wants your money to stay in the store no matter how dissatisfied you are!!! My recommendation, AVOID BUYING ANYTHING AT SOLO WEAR in Victor Valley Mall! Business owners need to be reminded that this is a service oriented economy and customers are very educated and will take our buying power else where if not accomodated. Businesses need to be customer oriented if they intend to stay open in this economy. It's not about the $17.00 it's about the PRINCIPAL OF TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMERS IN THIS...

If I could give negative stars I would! This place sucks! I bought a pair of women's Dickies from this place ONLY because I need them for work. When I tried them on the next day because I wanted to wear them at work, I realized they weren't stretchy nor the right size! I didn't have time to rerurn them that day went 3 days later, and was told no. I had lost the reciept, but had the tags. Worst of all I wasn't even trying to get my money back I was actually willing to exchange for a more expensive pair of pants and pay the difference! I hope that place closes soon! Solo wear in the mall of Victorville when you buy from this store you better be careful and make sure that you look over the clothes that you're buying because they can have Rip's or the sewing is coming loose and these people would not go down on their price so even if it's falling apart on a seam they won't give you no discount or anything and I think that's wrong they can at least give you a 10 15% off you still have to go and get it fixed somewhere else so be careful when you shop here I bought a dress for my daughter and there was $60 and if I'm going to pay $60 for a dress it better be everything...
