I went to Rosie's this week and was treated like a criminal because I am unable to go through metal detectors due to an implant in my back. I explained my condition to the people at the door and even offered to show my medical card clearly stating that metal detector could cause major issues with the implant. They refused to even look at the card. A "supervisor" came over and spoke to me, after turning pockets inside out amd raising my shirt to show I had nothing on me I was let in. Just as we were preparing to leave the "supervisor" came up to me and said the rules are clear and that if I ever came back the only way I will be allowed in is to go through metal detector. Either go through detector or be denied entry. I have been through airports throughout the country, amusement parks, concerts, casino's and even court rooms and have NEVER had an issue like this. Seems pretty discriminatory to refuse entry to someone who has a legitment reason they cant go through the metal detector. When I explained the medical card and doctors clear instructions that I cant go through they said well "it wont hurt you". I am glad that you alls security team also specializes in medical advice. Its pretty disappointing that they didn't care enough to take my condition in to consideration before making sure I was aware that I will not be allowed to come back. You all need to do better. I served and protected my community as a police officer and retired only due to line of duty injury, and to get treated that way is disgusting and...
Read moreThings have changed tremendously at Rosies im not sure if its new leadership or just someone who doesn't realize how to run the organization to meet the needs of the competitive gambler vs the beginner. The system should be designed to make money as well as keeping the patrons happy no matter how many times a week they visit. Recently in my opinion it seems to cater to people who win and walk meaning they take the money and run. I can only speak for myself and I'm sure my win loss statement will endorse everything I'm saying. If I where in charge I would assess who contributes and promotes Rosies frequently no matter what I would try to keep my high rollers and frequent players happy. 2025 i can say depending on how my 1st quarter goes I definitely won't be contributing well over 6 figures anymore. Hopefully this gets some attention and we see changes but I figure its ok to go back to traveling to gamble instead of supporting the local Rosies. I've even stopped posting my experiences on my social which I considered me doing my part because of the fairness and winning streaks I had. All I can say is I wish Rosies well but I see a significant profit loss in your future if things stay the way they are now. Feel free to have any Corporate personal to contact me for more details or ideas to help you guys regain your customer's back. Respectfly James the high limit...
Read moreWell I am not a gamblin type of person. But my friends are. So I went with then. You have to have a ID to get in and go through a metal detector. Then if you go sign up for the place you get a card that you then swipe at a kiosk. It puts you in as a member. I got $20 to play the slots with (didn't when thow) well that's not completely true I was able to play for a couple of hours. Got up to $35. And back and forth. So I really enjoyed my time there. The place was spotless and on. I also got a ticket for a $5 burger and fries. I didn't get one. But they looked awesome. Rosie's is a huge place. Plenty of machine of all different amounts you could bet. They have smoking and no-smoking side's. They have live band's on different days. (I don't know what days). It is very friendly. They have people walking around for if you need help with anything. Their is a button on the machine that you can push for help or if you want some refreshments. They sale mixed drinks. And the prices are reasonable. It is a very fun and laid-back experience. I enjoyed my self very much. Although a friend of my that was there gambling I saw when on 1 machine $400. Then about 20 minutes later on a different machine I saw the same person win another $500....
