DO NOT RENT! COVID NIGHTMARE. My daughter and I were supposed to travel with a group to Virginia Beach mid July for a dance competition, where 18 of us were to stay at this rental home. Due to COVID19, the dance competition was cancelled and our group decided it would not be in our best interest to travel out of state as we would not be able to socially distance in the house with the others in our group. The owner would not work with us and would not refund our deposit of $6500, despite COVID being a problem, and also stopped responding to us. She ended up re-renting the home out for the exact week we were to stay there, and ended up keeping our deposit and profiting from us during the GLOBAL PANDEMIC!🤬 We would have been traveling with a large group due to the dance competition, and all the other families in our group got their deposits back from other rentals. NOT US! It’s disgusting to me that someone would take advantage of the global pandemic situation and profit $6500.00 during this time! If I could give ZERO...

The owner would not work with us to find a new date to come, kept our deposit AND rented it out to other travelers. We were traveling for a dance competition with a group of over 50 people. All other families were able to get their deposits back from the places they were going to stay at in Virginia Beach. We were the only ones that didn’t.The owner of the rental unit refused to refund our deposit of $6500 and has since rented this unit out to other travelers. They actually made money of off this unprecedented GLOBAL PANDEMIC! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family from Kentucky. We loved the location and your home. We plan to come back to enjoy another great vacation. Your home was spacious for the whole family to gather and to also peel off into private areas. It was very inviting, comfortable and clean…it felt like home. Couldn’t get the kids away from the foosball and air hockey all week! The other games, movies and books also kept the family entertained if we weren’t at the beach. A competition event at the VBCC brought us to VB and Atlantic Breeze will entice us to return. We had a day of fun at the waterpark and also took a short drive into Norfolk for the day.
