I had really high hopes for M&H, especially after seeing them so much on social media for the last few years. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype.
The Pros: The service was really good. There wasn't a lot of hovering from our waitress and the food came rather quickly. Our waitress was also very friendly and engaging. The atmosphere was also very nice. I enjoyed the lighting as well as the decor. The tables are a bit close together, but it doesn't detract from the overall presence of the restaurant. The drink I ordered was also gorgeous and came in almost no time.
The Cons: I ordered the steak and eggs. While I found it weird that there was no kind of steak sauce and instead came with something called "green goddess dressing," I was still excited to try it. I also ordered my eggs scrambled hard. It also came with breakfast potatoes that the waitress said were fried then seasoned.
The potatoes were very soft and almost soggy, so I am not sure if they are actually baked or had just been sitting for while. I took a bite of the eggs and realized they also had cheese in them. When I alerted the waitress and asked for new eggs as I had not asked for nor wanted cheese, I was told that it wasn't a problem and that she would put that in, but "for future reference, all eggs here come with cheese." I have anxiety, so I almost STUDY the menu before I go somewhere new. I looked at the menu online again as I waited for the new eggs. Nowhere on the menu does it mention this, nor on the breakfast item I ordered itself. I urge the restaurant to consider putting this somewhere on their menu or have waitstaff alert a customer (or even honestly just ask...) as there are people with allergies, some serious.
In addition to this, each component of my meal tasted seasoned with everything EXCEPT salt. I had my partner try it, and even he agreed it severely lacked. The drink I ordered also tasted as though there was no alcohol. It was 11am and I had an empty stomach. I should have felt something, however small, I would think. However, it was very delicious.
Additionally, their website has a coupon that can be sent to you for $10 off. I signed up for it the week prior and my partner a few days prior to our visit. To this day, neither of us have received anything (including to spam).
All in all, I still do definitely want to try this place for dinner as well as for their flights. Maybe it needs to just gain it's footing or had a bad morning. But for $90 for 2 entrees and a drink, I expected a lot more...

I recently visited Milk & Honey and while the experience had some highlights, there were a few areas that could use improvement.
Service: First and foremost, I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress, Becca. She was phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She checked on us consistently without being overbearing and handled everything with such grace and professionalism. Easily one of the best parts of the entire visit. If service alone was the rating, this would’ve been a 10/10.
Drinks: The drinks were actually really good — flavorful, well-balanced, and presented nicely. They were a great start to the meal and definitely worth mentioning.
Food: Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. While the flavors were decent, the temperature was noticeably off — most of our dishes arrived lukewarm, even bordering on cold. That definitely took away from the experience and made it feel like the plates may have been sitting out for a bit before being brought to our table.
Atmosphere: The overall vibe of the restaurant was inviting. The decor was trendy and the music created a nice, chill ambiance. However, that atmosphere was interrupted several times by the fire alarm going off. It became pretty disruptive and took away from the otherwise enjoyable setting.
Cleanliness & Comfort: One of the biggest drawbacks was the excessive amount of flies inside the restaurant. It was honestly hard to ignore and pretty off-putting, especially when you’re trying to enjoy a meal. For an indoor dining environment, that’s something that really needs to be addressed.
Seating: On the bright side, we were seated quickly, which was a plus. No long wait times or confusion — very efficient front-of-house staff.
Overall: While there were definitely bright spots — mainly Becca’s exceptional service and the solid drink selection — the food temperature, the fire alarm disruptions, and the fly situation brought the experience down. I’d rate the visit an 4.5 out of 5. With a few adjustments, this...
Read moreDissatisfied and Disappointed! It was not the dining experience I expected, nor the quality of food. My son selected this restaurant to have a Birthday dinner celebration...we were told while trying to sit down by the hostess that balloons were not allowed because they float to the ceiling. I asked here where the policy was and she couldn't answer. I was annoyed, but asked of they could keep them at the front and she said she would speak to the manager (we'd made reservations and the parking garage was not free). The answer was no, so the balloons had to be taken back to the car. It would've been better received if the manager had come to the table and apologized for the inconvenience. Instead, we noticed him looking at balloons that were stuck in the ceiling. Apparently, balloons were allowed. I didn't leave because appetizers & drinks were ordered before we got there, and I didn't want to ruin my son's day or time with friends.
The service was terrible, and the server was not attentive. The food was terrible, arrived room temp with missing items...poor quality and doesn't live up to the standard of other Milk & Honey restaurants.
Also, the hostess was asked to inform the server that I didn't want a side item that I hadn't received...didn't see the server to inform her myself. The server handed the hostess the missing item, so when the server walked over to hand it to me, I told her I didn't want it. She stared at me instead of saying OK and leaving the table. I had to repeat myself 3 times, and she still didn't leave. Someone from my party had to tell her that I didn't want it and explain why. If a customer says they don't want something, don't be rude. Furthermore, food shouldn't exchange so many hands...especially when it involves a hostess who touches multiple surfaces.
I will not patronize at this location again. I hope management learns to manage, teaches better...
