Lost Boardroom — Local services in Walla Walla

Being a local, I understand to support your local shops. Sometimes you cant always support them when they do NOT have what you are looking for. Sometimes you need to go outside your local shops and find what appeals to you whether it be online or somewhere else. It’s NOT the shops fault but it’s also NOT the consumers fault that you DO. NOT. HAVE. What we want. I understand it’s a business on both sides not just one..That being said. I have known and have purchased from this business in the past. I like the owner and the past employees who have worked there long ago. Going into the shop, Yes, I brought in a board with everything from the Grip tape, to the bearings, and wheels. I just needed some trucks that they had in stock and seeking a lil help on assembling the whole thing together. I didn’t want to mess it up putting it all together and I totally trust the guys that work there to do a fantastic job. The thing that was a TOTAL let down was NOT the fact that you turned me away BUT the Attitude and this petty BS about not purchasing EVERYTHING from you guys in order to help a person get back into skating.. I would imagine it would have taken 15-20 minutes maybe less. No biggie..But to have an attitude and grip that I didn’t buy Every Single damn THING from ya? Like Really Brother? As I stated at the top.. I totally understand it’s a business and you want to sell your products to make money. Ps. I still bought some trucks even after worth around $70 bucks(standard) but ya couldn’t think “You know what? let us help this guy out (whose been here before and has spent cash and supported the shop) and get him on the board. He bought some trucks (even after this uncomfortable vibe) and more importantly he is going out there to skate.” Either way… it is, what it is. I wasn’t seeking a free service even though I did in the end still showed some love to ya and would’ve paid a lil something extra for the help as my way of being appreciative. Sadly it was too much I guess what I was asking apparently..Good luck with the business I really mean that and I hope this review doesn’t detract people from coming and showing some love. Just an unfortunate...

Picked up a jacket here a week or so ago. I was a bit on the fence about going to a local place and I was a little put off by the girl whom answered the phone. Luckily for me I decided to stop by and met the owner (or manager?), was quickly helped, and I found what I wanted at a reasonable price.
