We were in Walla Walla for our 24th anniversary and decided to have dinner and drinks here as we have been previously and really liked it the first time. We ordered and got our food and drinks and then the server forgot we existed. Came back once about 10 minutes after we got food to ask if it was good and then never came back. We tried to get his attention multiple times. It wasn’t even very busy. He kept going outside. We finished our food and drinks and waited 30 minutes before I flagged down a different server for the check. She talked with him but he never came back to the table. We were not rude. I told him the food was good and my drink was good. He just ignored or forgot us. Pretty terrible anniversary dinner and we won’t be back. As we left there was only one table of people seated outside so I’m not sure why he spent all his time there. Disappointed overall that I chose this place for an...
Read moreI was here recently, and the bartender kept trying to force me to buy the asparagus appetizer even though I kept telling him that I've never tried asparagus and never want to do it. After some time, he said that he already added it to my tab, I asked why, and he said that if I don't like it, he'll pay for it using his own money. I said that I want it removed, but he insisted. I then said that even if I will like it, I don't want to pay for it, to which he replied, "Don't be that guy!" Is he serious? So if I turn out to like something that he put on my tab despite my numerous requests not to do so, I have to pay for it or else it makes me "that guy"??? Plus, we all know he almost certainly wouldn't pay for it, he'd just void the item and mark on the order that the customer didn't like it. Also, I'm usually not the jealous type, but I'm pretty sure he was flirting with my girlfriend, even if...
Read moreI used to love this place, but when my husband and I tried to catch a quick dinner while visiting today. We were stopped at the door and told they were 21 and older. We had our three month old with us in her stroller. We literally just came from the Locust TAPROOM, where they mainly sell alcohol. Nowhere is it posted the establishment is 21 & older, we checked the website as well, and it says, "It’s a place where everyone is welcome, and where every visit promises a new adventure or a familiar comfort." Last time I checked, parents with babies are part of everyone. And if it's not posted and we are turned away for having a child with us, that is discrimination. I will NEVER eat at this establishment again & if you have children, I recommend you do the same. I've never been so confused and frustrated with a restaurant before—just horrible...
