Boot Barn — Local services in Washington

We came for boots and we left with friends! And boots! When we first got there, Trey was already very busy with a customer but saw how confused we were and made sure to take a minute to help us. He even went to get Aric, who took it from there and helped us the rest of the way. We had never bought boots before and weren’t sure what we were looking for, but Aric and Trey both made us feel at right home in the store and took time to help us try things on and find what we like. They taught us more about boots than we thought there was to know! We ended up not buying anything the first day because we had to double check what type of boots we needed, but came back the next week and Aric remembered who we were! He helped us with our purchase and finding the best items to suit what we were buying for. I can truly say that we left as friends. Everyone in the store was wonderful, but Aric and Trey turned a shopping trip into a fun and memorable experience. They each deserve a huge pat on the back for being such kind-hearted people and employees....

Absolute waste of time at the new St. George Boot Barn. We were school shopping for our son and finally found a pair of boots he liked. At checkout, turns out they were mismatched sizes (both tagged the same). The cashier and another employee told us there was an “imperfect boot” policy, took our info, and promised the manager would call the next day with a decision.

No call. When my wife followed up, we were told something totally different — that they actually hold mismatched boots for weeks. The manager acted like this was “obvious policy” and brushed off the fact that two employees had already told us otherwise.

So basically: staff give you false info, management doesn’t follow through, and customers get strung along. Shopping here isn’t cheap, and when your kid finally finds something that fits, you shouldn’t have to deal with this nonsense. For a brand-new store in town, this was a terrible...

This was my first time in a Boot Barn and dang I was blown away. First off, 100% customer service oriented staff. Margaret and Danny went above and beyond in helping me find a great dress and show my husband who was searching for the perfect shoes. We will definitely be repeat customers. This is a new store, but if customer service like this continues it will be one of the best in the areas and give other 'farm' type stores a run for their money when it comes to clothes and shoe quality/service.
