Columbia Square — Local services in Washington

This is a review for the parking garage not the building in general. The location of the garage was nice, but we left our car in the garage all day. We came back 10 hours after walking around the city and our car was the first we saw when we re-entered the garage... our car was completely unlocked. We have a lot of our belongings in the car since we are on a road trip. When we asked one of the attendants he only said that they move the cars a lot so they leave the cars unlocked or windowed rolled down so they could get into them easily. So we asked if they closely monitor the vehicles and he said yes of course. But we were able to walk up off the street and open our car and take stuff out and he never noticed. He was about 15 or 20 feet away. So who knows how many other cars are unlocked or how closely they monitor vehicles.. We are just glad nothing was stolen when we were there, just beware of what you leave...

This is for the parking garage: I parked here for a 5K race on a Sunday. The attendant gave me a ticket and directed me where to park. I was never told that the garage would close at a certain time. I got back to the garage at 12:15pm and the garage was CLOSED and no one would answer the number. I live all the way in Dumfries, VA and had to figure out how to get home, then go back there in the morning to get my car so I could get to work.
