Waste of time. I just needed a replacement screen protector since the glass in these "invisible shield" screen protectors apparently breaks very easily. I've had i-phones for more than 10-years and have never broken the i-phone screen, but I've only had an invisible shield protector for 15 months and it's broken twice in that time (my i-phone screen itself is fine though). Most recently, I had my phone in the pocket of my shorts with my keys and was just walking and when I pulled my phone out of my pocket, they screen protector was all chipped and cracked - just from rubbing against my keys in my pocket lol. I paid $39.99 for the screen protector which came with a limited lifetime warranty. When I previously had it replaced, I paid $9.95 for the cost of shipping and brought the replacement into a Zagg kiosk and they removed the old screen protector and installed the new one for free and told me that I could have saved on the shipping cost because they had it in stock and would have just given me one for free.
But this time, I go into the G Street Zagg store in Washington, DC, and:
I'm told that they don't have my screen protector in stock, so I'd have to pay more for an upgraded screen protector, that's fine
They have a $12 installation fee to install screen protectors - what? It takes like 2 minutes
They charge you a $10 shipping fee to return your old screen protector. This is completely made up and is something that, when you call Zagg's customer service line, they have a recorded message explicitly stating that there is no need to return the old screen protectors and no fee or charge for failure to do so.
All told, this man quoted me $33 to replace my $39.99 screen - this is the "deal" you get by having the Zagg warranty. Even if they'd had the same screen, the replacement would have cost $22 without the upgrade. What kind of warranty makes you pay more than 50% of the cost of the product to get it replaced?
I'm annoyed that I wasted time and energy during the work day to get over to the store. I'm just going to find a different ZAGG kiosk where they'll do the replacement for free.
I called into Zagg's customer service line and they confirmed:
there is no fee for sending the screen protectors back in to Zagg. She literally said "I have no idea where they think they would send it." It's just a bogus upcharge. She told me that she could send me an e-mail to show to the guy in the store to prove that that's a fake charge, so I wouldn't have to pay it, but I had already left the store and didn't want to deal with this store after my bad experience.
these Zagg stores/kiosks are independently operated and set their own fees and charges, so the policies and upcharges at this store are NOT representative of what you'll find at other Zagg stores/kiosks - you're better off...
Went to the 1204 G location June 19, 2018, through a referral and spoke to Jeff, needed an item for my phone and he assured me he could take care of it, told me he'd order the item and gave me a specific date to call back, called back and he sounded like he didn't remember me, and I could tell from his voice he didn't order the item, or forgot, he seemed like he was getting paper or something to write down the item he said he could order for me, which lets me know he forgot, mind you this is the day he told me to call back, so after this call back he gave me another date to call, I called back on that date he tells me the item has not come, fast forward to about 3 more call back dates and maybe 3 instances where I'm pretty sure he was screening my calls and wouldn't answer because he now knows he can't make due on the item ordered. Finally on July the 13th I had to call him just to find out I could stop through the next day so he could put the item in my phone, stopped by about 12pm gave him my phone and he told me to come back in one hour for something that took 5 minutes to check when I first came to him on June the 19th, so I was almost at a lost for words when he said can you come back in one hour, because he claimed he was busy but when I walked in to give him my phone nothing too busy was going on, so I came back maybe two hours later and he explains to me the item would not work in my phone, so now me already being cynical, I truly believe he was getting tired of me checking on the status of the item he never was able to get, and kept my phone just to try and legitimize his ruse, wasting my time because I could have ordered the item from a reputable company June 19th instead of it now being July the 24th with my phone still in the same state it was over a month ago, and I don't know what he could have been doing to my phone the whole while he had it, better not be any tracking software, added or missing parts, and the only reason I'm giving one star is because it's across the...

Your best bet is to use your phone insurance and get a direct replacement or get your phone screen fixed through your cell carrier provider. AT&T will send you a replacement phone for $99 or send a technician to you to repair your phone for $89. Verizon offers pretty much the same. All cheaper than what you will pay at Zagg.
The first catch with Zagg is the price. On the website they say around $69. BUT when you go in an actual store it's $110 AND UP! This is because they are franchised and not a chain therefore they can each charge their own price. And the price varies on the model phone you have (i have and iPhone 6s and it was 139.00).
Second catch is the technicians themselves. They are like car mechanics. Some better than others and some not good at all.(Tim) The guy who repaired my phone lost a screw, didn't put the screen properly in the bezel causing it to crack a few days after get repair. I went back only for him to tell me they didn't keep spare parts around so I had to come back and check in a few days if they had a replacement screw. Ridiculous. Not to mention as soon as I left the speaker and front camera wouldn't work. So they had to "replace" the camera and Speaker cord for an additional $39.
Third catch is the screen itself. It is not the same quality as your original. Colors will be off, auto dim is not the same. And sensitivity is worse.
The next day the phone screen wouldn't lock or shut off when making calls. I decided to go to Zagg in Tysons Corner to see if it would be a difference in service. They did replace my screen for free after I told them what was happening because it's under warranty.
Sadly the phone stopped working 2 days after that so I called AT&T to get a tech to come repair the screen and he did. Met me at my job and replaced it in about 15 minutes. Has been working great since. And the quality of the screen is like the original.
