I went to this Sephora yesterday to buy some hair care items and make a return and it was the worst experience I have ever encountered at a Sephora. When I got to the register I was asked continuously why I didn’t want the product, oh if you don’t want it I’ll take it, this is nice. Squeezing the bag and eyeing me as if I stole the item. Where did she even get that from oh she got it online, no I got it in store. We got it in the back we just didn’t put it out yet. I was glared at as if I was stealing something awkward looks and whispers. The lady at the register was on her cellphone starting at me from the back. She then yelled from the back do you need help with something. She then came to “assist” me while still on the phone. She didn’t have any answers to assist me and then said she had to look in the back to find the answers. She came back sin phone to explain she couldn’t find any answers but it’s more so a scent change. Also to note my partner felt so uncomfortable she walked out. Never have we been treated this way in a beauty store. I wanted to make a purchase but after that experience I searched up the items I wanted and took my business elsewhere. Ulta is down the street from me. Same items, same prices, better customer service.
I’d also like to add there were at least 5 people at the register and nearly no one around to help. I looked around in hopes to find someone to help. I did find however people glaring at me and whispering. People reviewing the item I just returned. Customer service here is at an all time low. Read moreThis place is ON from open to close. These people work to the bone. Family and I were visiting from Oakland for a family wedding. I booked a session for my Mother and I. Hectic schedule with our travel, delays, and of course poor planning with all things considered with traveling. Despite those hiccups, the wonderful Anna who is the POWERHOUSE and one of the Leads here was able to accommodate us. Took great care of my mother. Forget how you treat me but if you treat my mother right, you are alright by me :). Thank you for your hospitality Ms. Anna. Thank you to Edward who managed the front-end and throughout making sure all flows the way it should; gentleman of all gentlemen. Came back the second day for day-two do. Another outstanding service. My artist was Caeleste, and Bria took care of my mother. It just flowed beautifully. A building is just a building, make-up brands are fairly the same and have similar outcomes and can be found anywhere, produced and reproduced. The people that keep these spaces operational, however, are priceless and one of a kind. So, my heartfelt gratitude to you all for making us feel at ease and welcomed, despite your busy foot-traffic. Read moreExtremely rude staff at this location. Usually when you go to Sephora they are quick to greet you and ask you if you need help multiple times. Only one employee asked me if I needed help and she was so amazing and sweet. However, after previously spending money last Friday, I needed to make a return/exchange because the product from Makeup By Mario was so messy to deal with and serum/water based. When exchanging the product for what is in my basket the cashier was incredibly rude and originally denied taking the product back claiming it needs to be “less unused” than what it appeared. Thankfully, I had my receipt but she continued to go back and forth with me. I was returning it because of how messy it was and I didn’t like the consistency. Which is exactly why she denied me and blamed the policy. However it’s at their discretion and I used it one time! Will not be returning to this location and that store needs to work on their customer service skills. The consistency of the product is horrible but that’s not my fault after one use and needs to be discussed with the brand/manufacturer.
