I really like Everlaneās clothes, but dread going in person to try new styles on to see what size I am. I first went in to this location years ago, tried on multiple cuts of jeans and shorts, and after getting help with different sizes I was told by a sales associate that the jeans may not work with my body because they accentuate my stomach in an unflattering way. I would expect a very honest friend or family member to say this to me if we were shopping together but I was blown away that someone working there would push a customer away from their products because of their body type. After this experience I swore off Everlane for years.
Last year I decided to go back to the store in person because I really wanted to try on their pants in person to see what size I was. Something I noticed off the bat was that I was purchasing the largest sizes available in store - as in, the store doesnāt have upward sizing of items that they do carry in larger sizes online, which I hate. I still ended up purchasing multiple items that day but felt the sales associates were super pushy for me to buy more - which was ridiculous and made me so uncomfortable.
I went back in the store this year to try new styles on to find my size. I again purchase something in person but felt that the sales associates were extremely pushy for me to try and buy more things. It doesnāt seem the workers get commission - so I was confused at why they were pushing me to buy multiple items that I told them I wasnāt sure about. Itās hard to have a peaceful browsing and try-on experience here with how the staff interact with you.
Overall I like Everlaneās clothing - they have great staples that are of good quality. But shopping in person at the store is a miserable experience so be prepared to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited the Everlane store, and my experience was unfortunately very disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I felt overwhelmed by the aggressive sales tactics from the employees. Instead of a welcoming atmosphere, I was constantly approached and solicited to buy new items, which made me feel pressured and uncomfortable.
I understand that staff want to help customers, but thereās a fine line between offering assistance and harassing someone. I couldnāt browse in peace without being interrupted multiple times. It really detracted from my shopping experience, and I left feeling frustrated.
I love the brandās products, but I hope they can improve their customer service approach. A little more respect for personal space would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been shopping at Everlane for a while now, and itās one of my favorite go-to brands for minimalist, timeless wardrobe staples. Their commitment to transparency and sustainability really stands outāyou actually know where your clothes are coming from and how they're made.
Iāve purchased a few basics like their organic cotton tees, jeans, and the Day Glove flats, and every item has held up beautifully. The materials feel high quality, and the fit is usually true to size (though Iāve sized up occasionally in more fitted pieces).
What I love most is that their pieces are simple but elevatedāperfect for both work and casual wear. The prices are reasonable for the quality, and I appreciate that theyāre not...
