I began using International Art after the owner of my former custom framing shop, who I had worked with for 10 years, became seriously ill and was unable to continue with his workload. I had never worked with another custom framer, so picked International Art based on its online reviews and convenient location to me. I first spoke to Habib over the phone and he immediately struck me as being super nice. I then took one custom framing job to him and prayed for the best. As I have now had him complete 5 additional custom framing jobs and will be sending 4 more to him soon, I can say without a doubt that I’m hooked! Habib and his colleagues do amazing work and he’s great at explaining the options and what the work will require. My projects have involved framing collections of old photos from various activities. Some were old photos from the days when you actually had to develop film, others were from underwater disposable cameras, and some were from more recent smartphone technology. Habib came up with an idea on how to combine the pictures to showcase what I wanted. And because I am not very tech savvy, he used his photo editing program to edit and print high quality photos in a way that would work best for the frames. International Art’s work is superb, their prices are very reasonable, and Habib is so nice and professional. After a truly frustrating experience at another framing shop, where they did an awful job—putting the stretcher frame on backwards, leaving the painting loose and wrinkled, getting the frame size all wrong, and failing to center the artwork properly—I was desperate to find someone who could not only fix this mess but also do it right. Thanks to ChatGPT’s recommendation, I found International Art and Framing. I'd like to add another well-deserved five star review for International Art Gallery and Custom Framing. I recently brought in my own frame (purchased used and with another print already inside) and a print that I wished to have installed and custom matted for that frame, and we received excellent attention and advice on the best way to make the print fit and how best to accommodate it with a new mat. The proportions of the new print and the old frame were close but not a perfect match and so I knew some compromises would be required, and the owner (I think it was - I'm sorry we didn't get your name!) walked us through the various possibilities, pros and cons of what I wished to do.

The end result is perfect, the compromises so minimal that I don't even remember what they were, and he even made some cosmetic touch ups to the used frame which had a scuff here and there. Our living room now looks that much better with our print framed and looking great, and we'll certainly be back as we continue slowly outfitting our house with artwork.
