Pioneer Floor Coverings & Design — Local services in Washington

We have lived in a condominium in Desert Color since July2022. Visionary Homes had a contract with Pioneer regarding carpet installation and warranty. Our carpet has MULTIPLE RIPPLES through the small space of our bedroom. The only room carpeted. Mind you we live in a 950sq. ft. condo. SO our bedroom is NOT huge, to have this many ripples. We have NEVER had our new carpet that we purchased in all of our other 3 larger homes in Indiana ever ripple! So after 3 yrs we have no options. Your 1yr warranty for labor is ridiculous. We can now pay $200 to have you come out and re-stretch this lousy carpet and move all our furniture out of our room. We are very disappointed in this company. After 3 yrs of just my husband and I living here we have 2 ripples running side by side of 9’ and we have another one starting from under our bed now extending out 3’. We moved long distance into this condo assuming that Pioneer would do an excellent job in installing our carpet; we were still selling our home in Indiana and finishing up with our jobs. Our experience with Pioneer Flooring was extremely frustrating from start to finish. The initial appointment was a no-call, no-show, and when we were finally contacted, we were assigned Brian as our salesperson. From the start, he treated us like an inconvenience—rushed, unhelpful, and lacking even basic professionalism. After selecting flooring, we were told he would follow up after coordinating with insurance. Weeks went by with zero communication until we had to chase them down ourselves. When installation finally happened, the square footage was miscalculated, and we were left short on materials. We had to pay out of pocket for additional product just to finish the job—something that should never happen with a professional installer. Wow, my friend recommended them as the “best price in town”, but my review is on the best customer service in town! I was able to work with Zack, Kristy, and Brian. I also appreciate Ruben and his flooring team. They all taught me what I needed to know about the differences in flooring (laminate and vinyl planking), tile (ceramic vs porcelain) as well as the variety of differences in carpets and padding. I may have changed my mind a few times and they were so patient with me. Kristy made me feel like I was an important client and stayed after closing to help me finalize my decision.
