Secondi Inc — Local services in Washington

Gorgeous clothing shop with some of the best rack organisation I've ever seen in any consignment shop. I mostly go to shops like these for shoes (I find some styles of women's shoes to have better fashion and fit for me than men's), inspiration for sewing projects, and gifts for friends and family whose measurements I know, but I might end up getting a nice jacket, vest, or blouse here if I find something I like that fits my broad man-shoulders and flat chest. The selection is seriously incredible for the small space, especially if you're looking for a dress.

The staff were very personable and explained the shop to us, and while I'm well aware of the process, it was much appreciated to know they're willing to clearly lay consignment to potentially clueless boys in their 20s who wander in! Will definitely be coming back ❤️

EDIT: Forgot to mention prices! Luxury items will obviously come at high costs anywhere. The pieces here are mind-bogglingly well priced for what they are. In particular, I noticed a beautiful Aqua Blu Australia dress in size M that consistently retails for $400 was priced at $145 to go...

They do have nice items, some of them are reasonably priced. However, the service is not great in comparison to similar businesses in the area. They have a deal whenever you spent more than $500 in one transaction, you will get $25 coupon to use next visit within the next 3 months. I found out after I just spent about $440, any efficient employee/merchant would have suggested a customer to spend some more to get $25 coupon. If the customer said no, nothing to loose, but failing to do so, it’s a loose-loose situation. I left unhappy, they could have get me to buy some more today, and the next time I come back to use the $25 coupon I’d would spend more then, as well. I guess they don’t really care since they already have lots of business going on. Several years ago, the owner/manager with her old team were much more friendly, but the new team are ok, doing their job ok, no...

I have purchased a few high-end items at Secondi over the years. The quality and condition of those items were excellent. The price was a little on the high side, although nothing compared to purchasing the items new. Since the items looked barely used, I did not mind the prices and did not wait for the price to go down (there items are marked to go down periodically until you hit a price floor where it won't be reduced further). I was not risking the items being sold before the price reduction date , especially for the Louos Vuitton briefcase.

The only reason I did not give a 5 is because the customer service is not great No one really acknowledges me when I come into the store or asks may I help you (this is after many visits). Once I go to checkout or go up to ask a question, I've always received...
