The team over at Chocolate City Wellness are welcoming and over all friendly. Theyāve certainly made me feel quite at home which is nice. Iāve been shopping in all sorts of black market, I-71, and medical cannabis shops for years. For a moment I thought I was gonna have to give up on I-71 due to all the sketchiness. Iām glad this place allowed me to give I-71 another chance and be happy again. I can honestly say the quality of flower for the price is not bad at all. Membership is helpful for saving a little more which is nice. Itās very tough in the city to find 20-25$ 8ths that are good enough to smoke. Even the bargain weed is flushed properly and definitely gets the jobs done. Iāve tried all 3 tiers of flower and have been satisfied with all tiers and pricing. Also, itās one of the few places in the area to find snowcaps which is a very nice touch. I do wish they had at least 2 more options for concentrates but hopefully with time that can change. Highly recommend checking this place out if youāre in the DC/...

He told me he had a smoke shop, showed me a few pictures, told me the location and gave me a card. Told me to swing by when I was ready. Based off the pictures, I had set a low bar for my expectation. My cousins came into town from NC and wanted to go to a smoke shop. I figured Iād take advantage of the opportunity and take them to Chocolate City wellness. MAN!! Was I impressed. The place is super clean, The staff is super friendly and the transactions are super smooth. They have a wide variety of products that fit any budget. Thereās no reason to find another smoke shop. my cousins were impressed as well and said that they be returning. Remember that low bar I set earlier? Yea.. I hope these other smoke shops like pole vaulting because this one sets...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat products but the fact that customers are told to remove their hood at the door is nothing short of anti-Black and extremely disappointing. Wearing a hood does not harm to the employees, products, or other customers and being told to remove it as soon as stepping on the premises is an extreme turn off and makes me question the values of the ownership and management. Never forget, part of why Trayvon Martin was racially profiled and murdered was because he had on a hood. Seems like thereās some of that same association between hoods and negativity going on here and itās concerning. Like I said, great products, but Iām all about customer experience, so as a Black man, walking in, excited to spend my hard earned dollars at this business and being told to remove my hood as soon as I step in is a turn off and makes it seem like the way I show up as a customer isnāt good enough...
