Totally not sure where to begin! My Gosh! I actually, went into this place, what suppose to have been a place of business. Yet, upon entry of this horrifying establishment. I wasn’t greeted properly in which was already a red flag! That’s just the tip of the iceberg. No one took the initiative to spoke at all let’s just be clear! This one human being in particular followed me! Smh! Seriously, like what’s going on here. I was only in the store for a sec. First impression is always key! Not sure, if the young lady pacing back and forth with the all black on popping gum with her hands in her pockets with such a hateful nasty attitude was security, or not if, so she most certainly sucks she needs a lot of PROPER training! #the#entire#store#do… Same one who followed me)!! FYI (if looks could kill wowser)! Let’s just say, I would’ve been 💀! She looked me up and down disrespectfully. As if, I done something totally wrong! The other lady wasn’t any better! Instead she pointed her finger as if, I had known where to retrieve my merchandise from. Beyond sickening. Maybe, I’m just too Beautiful😉! Yes I AM, A WELL EDUCATED MELANIN QUEEN… Well dressed! Smelling amazing! While living my best life! I want for nothing! However, I am for sure of that! No thanks hun! I’m not interested! Mind you this was my very first time inside this store! Definitely my LAST without a doubt! Totally horrible customer service/ experience beyond insane. I can’t stress it enough… I’ve never entered a Sephora with this type of rubbish! Always welcoming, let’s just say it’s been awhile. I mainly, shop online to alleviate madness like this! If only my product had been in stock online, (which is the hottest thing on the market @ Sephora right now )I wouldn’t have NEVER ENTERED THIS STORE. Lastly, what makes it so bad is, I normally check reviews before hand. This time around, I made a huge mistake. I spent a lot of money, that’s what makes it so bad!! Upon walking toward the back looking for the register! Just for me to retrieve my merchandise I paid for online and go! Another associate watched me with the rest of them while chatting about idk what! Looking weirdly at me instead of assisting me in the right direction! Nope, definitely didn’t happen that way! I literally just left the store about a couple hours ago! I take it, if you’re a certain kind then you’ll get treated a certain type of way! Once again, COLOR SHOULDN’T matter! Nor, doesn’t make it right, All the money I spend is the same exact COLOR! Same as for the plastic being SWEPT! I’m pretty sure, my income will definitely define those unprofessional people who feel entitled to acted a certain type of way! “LITERALLY UPSETTING “ Nevertheless, nothing will justify they’re behavior. Once again, I could’ve been a secret shopper!* Shh*… From here on out! I’ll take my business elsewhere!! Customer Service 👎🏽 the apple doesn’t fall to far from the tree I see! One bad apple spoils them all (1800) number definitely wasn’t any better! What’s understood doesn’t need to be explained! If you knew better, you’ll for surely do better! I’m just lost for words, right now wow! The store wasn’t busy at all! (FYI) it’s nasty outside as to it raining bad. I had my hood on due to being drenched. Needless to say, spend elsewhere where others respect your time and money! Ppl don’t like to WORK anymore! Just there for a paycheck! How hard is it, to articulate?.This wasn’t just about me being greeted. Everything that happened was in plain site! Be careful with the judging, because those who you think doesn’t steal most certainly do! 👀All colors that’s the problem! Both customer service representatives including the so called manager via the 1800 number terrible just horrifying! Please cut it out with the reinsure non sense! Huge THANK YOU to Mari, who took me at the last minute and a 60-min make-up session. Visiting from Oakland for a family wedding. Running behind coming from a church ceremony and getting ready for the evening reception from one end of town to another (gosh DC is big, yet beautiful). I felt extremely lucky to be paired with Mari. She transformed me and gave me a reason to look at the mirror longer. It was the BEST make-up session, with genuine and heartfelt conversation. Mari's passion flows easy, she knows what works just by looking at you and can already build with the canvas in front of her. Gives you the autonomy to guide her to make sure you are happy with what you're applying to meet your vision. I simply allow the artist to do what they do cause I depend highly on their expertise, with great trust. Cannot apply makeup to save my life. Mari, with an amazing heart, one of a kind spirit, one that makes you value and appreciate each moment you interact with others. I booked an appointment to get my makeup done for my birthday dinner. Based on previous reviews I decided to go with Jordan and I’m glad that I did. She did the damn thing. She asked me questions so she could get the most information for my look. I didn’t really have many ideas on what I wanted to look like and as a creative myself I gave her free range on what she had in mind. She brought the vision to life. She was very gentle with applying the product to my face. It was honestly like I didn’t have any on at all, which is my preference. She gave me a very natural look and just insinuated my features. The look was long lasting and stayed the whole night out.

Her customer service was great. She engaged in friendly conversation and was very personable. She was timely and her brushes were clean.

If I ever need my makeup done for another engagement, I’m coming straight to her. Jordan job well done! You...
