I almost never write reviews (good or bad), however I've had the most outstanding experience with Treasure Trove Trading Co. The owner Alex is approachable, reasonable, and very knowledgeable. You get a history lesson every time you go in from just talking with him. After appraising a box of coins I had, which must have took him hours, I chose to keep the collection and not sell anything. I wasn't charged at all for that appraisal. He just doesn't charge for them because he feels like the knowledge gained from researching the coins is worth his time.

Treasure Trove Trading buys/sells gold and silver as well. He offers small gold "buttons" for sale which is an amount of gold affordable to the average person.

Another cool thing is that they provide a free pack of Pokémon cards and a wheat penny to children who come to the store to encourage their interest in coin collecting.

Besides coins, he also buys/sells Pokémon, comic book, and video game...

I had the pleasure of visiting this shop recently to sell some precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium) and had a really pleasant experience. Alex and his staff were cool guys and easy to talk to. The place operates on appointment only which is pretty cool because you get more personal attention and time. The shop is quiet and laid back with lots of places to sit and displays of stuff to look at. They buy and sell coins, precious metals, various collectibles like board games, Pokemon, anime stuff, toys, Star Wars, and comics. I saw some costume jewelry and misc. stuff as well. Alex was a pleasure to work with! I brought in some items and really didn't know the value and he went through every single piece and his offer was amazing! Silver spot had just gone up the day I came in to review the offer and he even added the additional money difference since silver had risen over .86 cents from when I brought it in. Best offers in town and I will only go there from now on. I actually just went back today with some other items and he is going review them all and provide an offer. Amazing group they have and they are not in the business to rip you off! I'll be back again and will refer everyone to come there. Also they sell items at great prices!!!
