With its Midwest roots and an emphasis on high-quality ingredients, Culver's offers a unique fast-food experience that sets it apart from the typical fast-food joints.
Atmosphere: ★★★★☆ The ambiance at Culver's is cozy and welcoming, reflecting the warm hospitality that the Midwest is known for. The restaurant's clean and well-maintained interior provides a pleasant dining environment for families, friends, and solo diners alike. The staff members are courteous and attentive, which adds to the overall positive atmosphere.
Menu Variety: ★★★★☆ Culver's menu boasts a diverse selection of classic American fare, with a focus on their signature ButterBurgers and fresh frozen custard. The ButterBurgers, cooked to perfection and served on lightly toasted buns, are a delightful indulgence. The menu also offers a range of chicken sandwiches, fish options, salads, and sides, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences.
Food Quality: ★★★★☆ One word to describe the food at Culver's would be "delicious." The ButterBurgers are juicy and flavorful, and the toppings and condiments complement the patties exceptionally well. The frozen custard is a definite highlight, offering a rich and creamy treat that comes in various flavors and can be customized with mix-ins. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars here is that on rare occasions, the food can be inconsistent across different locations.
Value for Money: ★★★★☆ Considering the quality of ingredients used and the overall dining experience, the prices at Culver's are reasonable. The portions are generous, ensuring you get good value for your money. However, the prices might be slightly higher compared to other fast-food chains, but the superior taste and ingredients make it worth the investment.
Cleanliness and Hygiene: ★★★★★ Culver's excels in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. The restaurant's cleanliness not only applies to the dining area but also extends to the restrooms and food preparation areas. This attention to detail is commendable and contributes to a pleasant dining experience.
Conclusion: Culver's restaurants have earned their reputation for serving mouthwatering ButterBurgers and delectable frozen custard, creating a unique niche in the fast-food industry. The welcoming ambiance, friendly staff, and commitment to cleanliness add to the overall appeal of the restaurant chain.
While prices may be slightly higher than some other fast-food establishments, the quality of the food and the exceptional service justify the cost. Whether you are a burger enthusiast or have a sweet tooth, Culver's is a must-visit restaurant for a delightful...
Read moreWhen it comes to mistakes I am one of the most forgiving people ever. But tonight was quite the experience. Tonight I dined in for the first time in maybe a year and brought a coupon that was good for "One Free Regular Cheese Curd" with the purchase of a value basket.
Great deal right? So I went in and purchased the spicy chicken sandwich value meal that comes with a regular fry, and a medium drink. Gave the coupon to the lady, and I paid.
I wait to get my meal, and I was served the chicken sandwich and a regular cheese curd. No fries. So I told the person delivering the food that I needed my fry that came with the value basket. He went to go talk to the manager telling her that he owed me a fry. I heard some arguing and he came back empty handed, asking me what I ordered. I told him that I ordered a value basket and gave them a coupon for a free regular cheese curd when purchasing a value basket. He went back for a second and then came back and told me that I didn't order fries. I kindly told him that fries come with value baskets. Every single one comes with your entree, a fry, and a regular drink.
He went back and argued with the manager from what it sounded like, and said I would have to pay for the French fries. I told him that I was not going to pay for them, because it came with the meal that I paid for. The cheese curds were free, hence the coupon. I could tell he was new, so I wasn't going to argue with him because he wasn't in the wrong, the manager or team leader was.
I stood in line with my food, intending on telling them that I want the fries that come with the value basket.
The guy who served me the food, came back crying and told me that he paid for the fries. He gave me the fries, and went back to the kitchen sniffling. Made me feel absolutely AWFUL.
Whoever this person was who bought my fries, deserves better treatment from management or Culver's in general. I don't know your name, but I wish I did because I would gladly recommend you, and commend you for making things right with the customer. The team member should not have to pay out of their pocket to make the customers right. In any case, the customer is usually right. Your management should be embarrassed for not making things right with the customer, and relying on the team members to make things right themselves. Furthermore, they should be embarrassed that they do not know their menu in the slightest.
If you are going to train your employees, you should try to pick a weekday, not a Friday through Sunday where things are more hectic. I will be a returning customer, however I'm a...
Read moreWelcome to another place that I would rate 0 stars if I could. Culver’s is a place that I have honestly loved all over the east coast. HOWEVER. Twice, once by this one and once by the one on Sashabaw, I have ordered a delixe without mayonnaise and there has been detectable amounts of mayo on it. Fine. it happens. Food line workers lack the ability to wipe their hands evidently… I went in to this establishment to ask for a sandwich without mayo and when I brought up allergies and food-borne illness some tall gal with a loud mouth and a name beginning with “E” or something piped up and said, “SIR. This is fast food we 100% have CROSS-CONTAMINATION AND YOU HAVE TO EXPECT A LITTE OF EVERYTHING ON YOUR MEAL. AND BECAUSE OF THAT WE DONT WORRY ABOUT ALLERGIES AND ILLNESS.”
WHOOOOAAAAAA…. You wut…?
When she refused to fix the sandwich i asked for a refund to which she replied, “ huh huh huh. snide look I just think its funny that you say there is mayonnaise on it when there isnt.”
I informed her I am not a comedian and would like a refund. She scoffed and refused before another fellow leaned into her and said, “just give him a refund”
She rolled her eyes, said, “We dont want your business anyway” then proceeds to give me a partial refund. I informed her I want a full refund and she tried as hard as she could to refuse that. But eventually refunded in full. She banned me from the store(as if i would ever support her anyway… LuL…) and then proceeded to refuse and ban the gentlemen after me for the fact that he approached me and de-escalated the situation. I understand cross contamination happens. But at the same time they have to understand that when i bring a specific concern they can just respect it and find a middle ground instead of looking at me and trying to convince me that someone who is allergic to certain proteins should just either eat it and deal with it or throw it away and waste their money....
