My experience at this store was abhorrent! While I was shopping, I was accosted by a man who works there named John when trying to take a picture of an item (so I can buy it later on) and he got so angry about it and yelled at me that there's no video recording allowed at any TJ Maxx locations but I have never had that problem and would never recording other people. He yelled at me while I was all alone, scared and left, so I just went to the cash register with the few items I planned on purchasing and there was John staring me down trying to intimidate me, a 5'1 lady! He was talking to the employees in an angry manner while staring at me and making me uncomfortable. It honestly made me cry, Im a victim of abuse and to berate a woman for taking a picture, bullying me to leave the store and staring me down is just unacceptable period. The female coworkers did not join in with him and were rather nice and helpful but he is so miserable in his life, he has to randomly bully women to feel better about himself? Mostly women shop here! Most of the coworkers he has are women, how is this okay and are they okay? I wont be returning unfortunately, due to his predatory bullying behavior, I can clearly see this was not his first time nor will be his last. He made me cry when Im already stressed out and TJ Maxx usually always cheers me up. He needs to learn how to approach wome with kindess and respect, also to not make up rules on the spot and accuse women of video recording when Ive seen many women facetime, video, take a picture etc. .Thanks John for a horrible shopping experience, it was so bad I must call corporate in the morning to report this abusive nature since business hours are Monday through Friday, he should not be working with or...
Read moreWow! Just wow. I’ve never had such rude service in my life. It started out with me returning a pair of unworn shoes without a receipt which I did not want money but a store credit for. They had multiples of same identical shoe which I brought up to the counter. I was told no credit or anything because of no receipt. I asked to speak to store manager, John, who reversed that decision and did give me a credit which I greatly appreciated. I went to shop and saw some items in the jewelry case and asked the lady working in that dept if she could help me. Not only was her tone sarcastic, but she did not realize I could see her and she gave a very fake smile which quickly disappeared, and then had a smirk on her face. I told her never mind. I wouldn’t want to bother you and she looked utterly surprised by my reaction. I than proceeded to do some more shopping and ran into the manager John where I thanked him again very nicely for allowing me to get a store credit. During that interaction, he did not even look at me or respond to anything I said, except with a small nod, and a type of grunting sound. I will not be shopping at TJ Maxx anymore. And I am very disappointed with my experience here today they need to do some retraining of...
Read moreI am very unhappy with this TJMAXX. I was just there the Saturday night before Christmas. I bought a bunch of gifts and after I rung out at the register, I specifically asked the girl. Are you sure I have everything. She replied yes. I took my bags and left. I left some items in my vehicle to hide them. Christmas day Wednesday I go to get the bag with shoes and socks for my grandson and it's not in my vehicle. My girlfriend checks her car and that particular bag wasnt in her car either. The only explanation is, the girl didnt give me all my bags. One job, ring items up and hand them to the customer. Christmas is here and I dont have my grandsons gifts. Doing your job is to much to ask for. And they want a higher...
