I was a bit concerned based on the reviews here, but I believe most of these complaints were due to NOT having an appointment. I made an appointment to replace all 4 tires on my car, and I was in and out in 45 minutes (honestly a bit too fast, I did not even have time to get my shopping done in the costco). Entire process was easy, you go in and check in at desk, place a magnetic number on the roof of your car in the lot so they can find it, then they call you when they are done. You can wait around by the tire garage, or go back into the store to shop/do whatever. Whole thing was very easy and seamless. Would definitely recommend using Costco tire center. Again, i think these bad reviews are just biased because they tried to walk in without an appointment. This place is very busy, fully booked, and they do a great job.
Also there is no haggling or upselling, their prices are online, right in front of you. They offer QUALITY tires -Bridgestones, Michelins, Pirelli types and none of the cheapo low quality chinese tires that you get sucked into at the midas type shops. Yes you may pay a bit more, but honestly for the extra 100-200 bucks total, I think it is worth it to get the better name brand high quality tires. Side note, Costco offers 1 day deals on major holidays (memorial day, july 4, labor day, etc.) where I noticed some good discounts if you order all 4. I waited until memorial day and got 4 bridgestones turanza everdrives for ~760 before tax. Check their site especially on...
Read moreI had an absolutely unacceptable experience at this Costco Tire Center. After they finished working on my car, they left it outside for over four hours with both windows wide open and the keys sitting inside in plain view.
There was zero communication, zero accountability, and zero security. No one bothered to call me, check on the vehicle, or even attempt to secure it. Anyone could have walked up and stolen my car, taken my belongings, or worse. The lack of basic responsibility is shocking.
When I confronted them, their only âsolutionâ was to offer me $50 or a tank of gas, as if that somehow makes up for the complete negligence and risk they put me in. I was also told that the employee would be âheld accountable,â but honestly, that doesnât help me or restore my trust in this location.
If itâs any consolation, Jesse (the manager) and Isaac (the supervisor) did their best to help me out. Unfortunately, they were very limited in what they could actually offer, and at the end of the day, Iâm left with nothing but frustration over how my vehicle was handled.
Not that it makes a difference in how customers are practically treated, but today also happened to be my birthday â and instead of enjoying my day, I spent it stressed out, dealing with a situation that never should have happened in the first place.
The only reason Iâm giving this review two stars instead of one is because of Jesse and Isaac doing their best to help me. Otherwise, this would be a one-star experience...
Read moreI visited Costco Tire to ask about scheduling an appointment to replace all four of my tires. The representative at the counter told me that if the tires were in stock, they could install them immediately since there was no wait. That sounded great, so I agreed to move forward. However, I quickly realized this wasnât trueâthere were actually several cars ahead of me and actual wait was over an hour.
Had I been given accurate information, I would have happily scheduled an appointment and returned at a set time instead of waiting with my groceries. This experience was frustrating and completely avoidable. Costco should improve how they communicate wait times to ensure customers can make informed decisions.
EDIT: The rep apologized to me for the delay and wasnât sure what happened since he didnât see any cars pending. I appreciated the apology, but the tire center needs to adjust how they operate so there isn't confusion amongst the employees on the amount of...
