I went to this location for the 4th time to get one of the wedding rings purchased from James Allen to get cleaned up (last time I did it was 2 months ago), but the new staff including the store manager, claimed that clean up services are not included with my purchase, only "steaming"of the rings instead, told me that clean up services could be done at an extra cost.
I asked to be explained the reason why i would not be provided such services, and i even showed the representative a live chat conversation i had with a James Allen rep, clearly stating that there is no limit on "cleaning, polishing, rhodium plating, and prong tightening" because i have a lifetime warranty inlcuded with my purchases.
They looked at me as if i was from Mars, never checked the system to indeed confirm that i had cleaning services done on my rings three times before at this exact location. instead, they proceeded to guess about their policies.
My wife and I shook their hands, thanked them for their their time (a waste of ours), and drove 30 mins north, to the second Jared location out of the only two in North New Jersey (located at Paramus, NJ),
Want to Guess what happened there? They took our rings for a cleanup at no cost, the way it was supposed to be.
Moral of the story = the people at Jared located at Wayne NJ SUCK and DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!

The sales people there were nice enough but there was one who had a bit of an attitude because he thought we didnât have good credit or god knows what he imagined and was a bit dismissive. The other one, whom I believe his name is Frank. He was very nice and attentively listened to everything I said which was that I like unique, classic non gaudy looking jewelry. So biggest is not necessarily best when it comes to my tastes... which the other guy understood as âno moneyâ! Frank, patiently waited on me and help me pick a ring that took my breath away! When they ran our credit imagine how surprised the other guy was when he realized I could have purchased a more expensive ring!đyou never can tell who is going to walk into your store so be courteous and donât judge!    Read moreSo when I dropped my ring off to be resized I dealt with two women who were absolutely WONDERFUL! they made me feel comfortable and also took pictures of my ring to show me little tiny imperfections in the diamond so when I pick the ring up the next day I can tell the diamond hasnât been altered at all. Well I go in the next day (today) to pick it up and dealt with a gentlemen who was TERRIBLE. Not personable at all and when I asked him to show me the specific imperfections he huffed and puffed about it like it was a huge inconvenience. It literally took all of 1 minute to show me and even still he just showed me random imperfections not the specific ones they took pictures of yesterday. Needless to say I left extremely upset with that whole experience. They resized my ring in a day which was great but I was definitely overcharged. At the end of the day great customer service goes a long way. Itâs a shame because the women that helped me were AMAZING. I would not do anymore business with them or suggest anyone else go there unless you want to deal with a cranky old man who has zero customer...
