GameStop — Local services in Weaverville

It’s a shame I can’t do less of a Star. Go in to try and sell a grade 10 perfect card which they’re all about advertising about currently. Walk to in with my child to the employe playing on his Nintendo switch didn’t even bother to look up and greet us until I was at counter. Show him the card-scans says looks like we sell them but don’t buy them. Makes alot of since makes me wonder how they have them to sell? As soon as the interaction is done which is less than 2 minutes he’s back in his game. It is a Japanese card and I’m sure that might make things a tab bit more complicated but to clearly sell them tells me they buy them this guy didn’t want to take steps to do that much. This was my last straw with GameStop Ill be canceling my pro membership and will not be back to any...

This review is 100% directed to Jhon, this guy is phenomenal, and makes the whole shoping experience diferent. This is the only gamestop I'll be going in the Asheville area from now on.

If you visit this gamestop ask for Jhon, this guy has covered every single question I've had, has helped me with pre-orders, trade-ins, collectables.

Always reminding you of the promotions, always reminding you what's about to come out to make sure you end up coming back. Not sure if there are many Jhons, your guy is friendly, skinny long hair Jhon! Huge props to whoever hired him.

Then told me they didn't carry any??? (I came in 10 minutes later and they had them) Still 5 stars Overall but who was that dude?

Previous review: Pretty much your average Gamestop. Staff is knowledgeable and the person who answered the phone was able to direct me to a different store that had what I needed (gamecube controller)

They don't have as much used for old consoles as they used to, (no accesories/games for anything before ps4/switch era really.) Still a great store.
