Caroline the hair stylist ... let's just say I wouldn't recommend this person to my worst enemy. She claims to be a certified professional to install extensions but I believe it's only on a certain type of clientele maybe. I went to her after finding her on IG. She seemed to do a good job on her other clients so I figured I try it out. I went for the consultation and to order the extensions. At this time I explained to her that I have very fine hair and that i hoped it would work. She told me she had worked the same texture hair before and was confident that it would be fine. Once the extensions arrived, I went back for her to install. Well as you can see from the pics below the install didn't last long. I had to return for her to correct it. The first time I went for a correction, it was because she installed too many extensions. Ok, trial and error right? So we remove some of the extensions. We went thru this 2 times and she had to correct it both times. Needless to say she needs more work on her technique and more experience working on all grades and texture of hair. Read moreI’m an esthetician renting from blue lion. I’ve had so many complains over the course of my 1 year lease at the Baybrook location and the manager of this location has to service all over Houston and often times cannot make it out to help with issues until days later. The building is constantly FREEZING. These temps ruin products such as processors and lash adhesive and I’ve hundreds of dollars worth of product because my room has dropped below 60 degrees so many times especially in January. Once I contacted management about the temperature they turned it up but then turned it back down once supposedly receiving complaints from hairdressers in the front of the building. They never mentioned it to me so I had to reach out again about the temperature getting so cold but they said they leave it at what it is to accommodate other stylists. I’ve spoke with other suite renters and they said it is always so cold in their rooms as well. I’ve had to buy two different space heaters and have them both running at the same time just to get to a normal 69 degree temp. It’s actually been a nightmare renting from this location. Read moreBrow boutique by quinh- I looked quinh up and she showed pictures on her instagram that seemed to know what she’s doing , but I guarantee you now after I did my brows with her that she is freakin lying , she did horrible work , she rushed me with no consultation- she showed me a pre draw with pencil then when she microbladed it it looked extremely dark , and couldn’t see the hair strokes natural look ! She gave me a bulky dark blue grey back ground! I asked for dark brown she said : no you have dark hair it should be dark , after touch up she added more hair strokes at the ftont making the space too close i hated it it gave me a unibrow vibe ! People asked me why are you brows too close ? She charged me $600 dollars for absolutely trashy work , I called her to ask for the reason she did this and refund at least $100 for the cost of going to someone to erase the ugly blue shade and the close up distance since she doesn’t do it she refused and hang up in my face .
