My oldest and youngest daughter just went to the target in wentzville to pick up some food and a prescription for my youngest, who just received foot surgery. Keep in mind that it is very painful for her to walk. They decided that instead of using a motorized cart, leaving it for someone who needed it more, my youngest sat inside the cart. Because it was painful for her to walk around the store. They were casually shopping when a women employee with glasses and black hair targeted them, and told my youngest that “she was too big, and needs to get out the cart.” This is for one outrageous, since they were targeted just because they look young. Given the fact that they were respectfully shopping, not horsing around, and NOT HARMING ANYTHING. I think this store should focus more on what actually matters, like families walking in the store not wearing masks, which is a rule posted on the doors. Read moreMy daughter, grand daughter and I visited this target on December 27th around 8pm looking for a great deal instead we encountered racial profiling. The Wentzville police officer followed us through the store until we checked out. I found a Barbie doll on sale I scanned the item to confirm the price however, it didn't match I asked the associate to confirm why the price didn't match instead of honoring the price she removed the sticker (showed below) and stated she couldn't honor the price. I asked for her to reach out to a manager and she said no, I don't know any company where an associate can decline the right for someone to speak with a manager for more clarification. How do you explain to a eleven year old child who was excited to spend her Christmas funds that this awful experience is because she is different and because of her skin color. Read moreThis location has been undergoing a remodel for quite a while, and I think the chaotic part is complete?? That being said, they need to work on the in-store online order pick-up situation. Apparently, since the remodel, they no longer have all of the ready-to-pick-up orders back behind the customer service area anymore - some of them are all the way on the other side of the building, forcing the associate to walk across the entire store to pick them up.
