Max Alefi fixed my issue without realizing he actually resolved it. My issue was my type-c port on my S22 Ultra stopped working and didn't charge my battery anymore. Only wireless charging worked.
Max ended up tearing the phone down doing a deep analysis of the issue and found it was a micro processing issue that wasn't able to be worked on due to the super small nature of the component needing to be replaced. It would need to be shipped out to a company in Vegas to fix which could be 8-10 days for the repair and return. I decided to weigh my options after that news and went home.
So, for some unforeseen miracle when I got into my car I decided to plug it into my car charger and it all of the sudden worked. Max even tried it several times during is assessment of what issues could be the problem.
So, Max, please know, whatever you did pulling that ribbon off, disconnecting it and reattaching it fixed my problem.
My phone is now charging like normal without issue. I wanted to pay Max for his time tearing down my phone to assess the issue and ultimately he was unable to help. But little did he know he fixed it.
Max wouldn't take my money based on principle that he could not fix it due to what he discovered.
So, I'm writing this review to say, please go and see Max at the Cell Again Kiosk in Valley Fair Mall. He's a true honest human and is trusting and knowledgeable. I will go back to him for any future issues.
Lets push this up to 5...

However, I needed to get my cracked screen fixed first. I came to cell again to get a quote, and they quoted $400, saying the screen alone was $200. This was the first red flag (the other phone repair places in the mall only charged $200).
I then asked them what they would buy the phone when it was fixed and they said they would be able to do $330. This was surprising but a plan formulated to just not turn it into T-Mobile and sell it to them instead for a few more bucks.
I went ahead and got the screen repaired at Zagg, then brought the phone back a couple weeks later.
It was a different team member that was there this time and he told us that they have a policy of not buying phones that have been repaired. This was wild. The last two gentlemen I dealt with very clearly knew the phone was cracked when I brought it the first time. Why wouldn't they have said " sorry, even if you fix it we won't buy it". So one of these two parties was wrong and it caused me to miss the deadline to turn my phone into T-Mobile.
Between my poor experience, and their high prices, I highly suggest going elsewhere to buy, repair, or...

I was just out walking around the mall taking a minute for myself and happened to pass by their little kiosk. Isaac was working on a phone, I didn't want to bother him but thought I would ask a quick question, often someone in that position would ask you to ask one of the other people or have somebody come over, but not Isaac he got right up searched around for the answer to what I needed but then went even further than that. He gave me training, materials, and understanding of what I needed and where I could go, he didn't want to pull a fasth-one on me and just have me bring my phone in and do some work just to get money, but knowing that his repairs probably wouldn't last because of the nature of the poor build quality inherent in the phone I had, he wouldn't repair it because he knew it would just break again and he didn't want me to have to go through that. He didn't even try to sell me something that they had he just wanted to serve another human being. Erica was also working there, and she was incredibly generous in discussing what I would need to know what to do.
Again, go to these people for all of your cell...
